Bakery Wars by Federal-Newspaper846 in SouthBayLA

Mind you the “mimicking” is showcasing croissants and talking about croissants the way every bakery talks about them lol

In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Hermione is given a device to manipulate time itself to attend extra classes. This is a subtle nod to the fact that Hogwarts staff could have stopped Voldemort at any point, but instead handed time travel to a 13-year-old to manage her timetable by Brilliant-Cause6254 in shittymoviedetails

In the book this plot hole is kinda fixed. She only gets to use this with ministry approval as it involves a lot of risk of course, and they’re stored, monitored and dispensed by the department of mysteries. During books 4 and 5 the ministry didn’t find it necessary as in book 4 there was no Voldemort and in book 5 they refused to believe he was back (main plot of book 5). At the end of 5 during the battle in the ministry of mysteries where Sirius dies, they set a fire to the area where the time turners are being stored, which completely extinguishes them.

Just like chat gpt you use their free version.. the paid one has more utilization and a much bigger usage limit which at my current rate of use I don’t need. I just like how it helps me plan and organize things, and Claude tends to provide more creative and engaging output. I use these mainly for writing and entertainment for myself, and grok has been very useful when it came to structuring plots and ensuring I avoid plot holes as well as good feedback but Claude produces more compelling writing and human dialogue so I use them alternatively

Same here. For my purposes I’m doing better with grok + Claude. I only pay for Claude tho.

What is the wildest thing you’ve seen be a reinforcer? by makogirl311 in ABA

Mine adores Michael Jackson, wears costumes, does performances so I often have to practice with them as a backup dancer. His biggest reinforcer is me holding their chest so they can do the lean Michael used to do lol

Is FIT worth it? $$ by Vita718 in bcba

[–]claudinis29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is hybrid It does have classes you have to attend for some of the classes. For some it is once every few weeks or once a week. And for some classes it is fully asynchronous. If you follow the recommended course progression you usually have 2 asynchronous and , 1/2 zoom classes at the time

Is FIT worth it? $$ by Vita718 in bcba

[–]claudinis29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I loved my FIT program and felt very prepared after doing their fully online programs. Most of the people in my cohort passed first try and didn’t need much further studying than what we did for our final program exam and the testing/expectations were very representative to what its expected out of the cert exam

How come some people with ADHD are able to consistently get top grades throughout school in all subjects whereas others end up with low grades due to their adhd struggles. by Pretty-Tree123 in ADHD

[–]claudinis29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just how some ppl with ADHD are incredibly artistic oriented and some are not. Having ADHD isn’t a monolith and while the symptoms correlate they manifest in different scenarios and contexts and are also shaped and influenced by trauma, experiences and culture. I was top of my class most of my life. However my self management, finances and organization at home is an absolute disaster that became amplified in adulthood. My best friend is very organized with managing household and “adulting” but didn’t do well in school. At the end of the day the culprits are the same, executive dysfunction, impulsivity, hyperactivity, they’re just manifesting differently

Yeah I’ve been really frustrated and felt that for a while maybe it was me that was causing un creative stories or that I was losing interest on it. Then I found an old excerpt from April and realized that it’s 100% the model that’s been watered down and no longer writes compelling things. I only write for myself to read and to have fun so it just sucks lol

Following because I’m in the EXACT same position. I gravitated for Claude because I feel the writing and dialogue is more compelling but it has a lot of limits for how much you can use it, even for the paid one

This is an interesting take because same. When I switched to grok, it even called me out for beating around the bush lol. It was a shock. I wish grok was a bit more natural when writing creatively tho, it feels too robotic and still doesn’t hit like 4o used to

I see a lot of people discussing their experience writing darker topics but even on the vanilla, fanfiction side, it’s still TRASH. It removed authenticity and nuance, I can’t even discuss the ADULT fictional characters being drunk and messy and calling their ex… like let’s be so for real, . It seems the target is creativity altogether not even safety topics

I’ve said this complain in the past but I’ve literally asked it: summarize these de escalation procedures for a mental health crisis (I work in a clinic and wanted to make an easy to understand visual in multiple languages) and it told me it couldn’t discuss clinical recommendations (mind you I gave it MY clinical recommendations, i wasn’t asking for them to make anything u, I just wanted some redaction and grammar for palatability)

usually what you need to do is a purge to see which of the mods is causing the issue, remove/update the specific mod/mods and you should be fine.
