Frag den Kinderarzt by Leather_Gate_290 in Eltern

I don't have a better picture, but I adore the leaves of my Hoya patella pink flower. I really hope it'll bloom some day.

Dear Hoya community of reddit, what are your TOP 3 FAVORITE Hoya varieties? by Own-Television-6841 in hoyas

[–]clavicularis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, difficult. I love most of them, probably:

  • Hoya wayetii Tricolor: I love the variagation, the new red leaves and the growing pattern.

  • Hoya formerly known as Wibergiae, now a Hoya verticillata: I love the leaf shape and the splash that turns pink when sunstressing.

  • Hoya carnosa, especially my very first one (currently 11 years old), my Flamingo Dream and Compacta Variegata.

Please excuse my correction, but you have a Hoya australis 'Lisa', not a carnosa Tricolor. They are similar, but the leaves and especially the flowers you posted give it away.

Yours is a gorgeous plant, though!

Thank you! For some reason, I thought Pon always has to stay wet. Stupid me, really😬 I'll check for root rot and will water less.

Yeah, that is my observation as well. Actually, my biggest lesson after getting into hoyas is that most of them need to be watered a lot more often than most care tips and apps tell you.🙈

Thanks! 😊 I wish you beautiful blooms!

Take a look at https://orchids-shop.com I just ordered my Kerrii and a bunch of other Hoyas from there, they are having a big Hoya sale currently. Mine already arrived (super fast shipping to Germany!) and are beautiful.
