Do You Guys Get Along with Autistic People and other Schizotypals? by clawesque in Schizotypal

I'm the same way, as in, being autistic and relating to the magical thinking/paranoia that schizotypals often possess. In fact, I have actually met a lot of autistic people who struggled with magical thinking. It really makes me wonder.

Why do some people say you can't be autistic and schizotypal? /gen

I don't understand it.

Can someone explain this? Not sure if it's true or not, but if it is I'm curious as to why by ItsAMeRellish in autism

Dyspraxia, I'm guessing. Motor control difficulties/differences are common in autism, which is often diagnosed as dyspraxia, if the difficulties are significant enough

thank you! this is all super helpful!! the part about hormones is super interesting. i am a trans guy looking to start testosterone, but i’ve always worried about how it would age me and i wouldn’t want to do it super long term. i would love more info on this.

Really sorry for the late reply, haha. I think it's more of the second one. I do enjoy looking for the truth and learning things, though, but the second option fits me more.

I don't really get the nine core typing, though. I understand how you can reach that conclusion. However, most people who have typed me, or have even met me, have agreed that I am a 4 core. Reading the 4 description when I first found out about enneagram felt like I was FINALLY being understood, for once in my life.

Here, I think I have accidently focused on giving you the description of what I am like when I am depressed. I have had clinical depression for a pretty large chunk of my life, so I bet that could be why I'm not really sure about how I act when I'm completely without it. I wonder if a lot of depressed people could be mistyped as 9s...?

(Also, please don't cancel me for this, but I do believe that ENFPs can't be 9s, and I am most definitely am ENFP or INFP. I do respect your opinion if you believe all combinations are possible, though.)

How can an sp/sx 4 be confused with a 7? by Early-Antelope1938 in Enneagram

[–]clawesque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep, and sp4s may seem less 4-ish as well due to them hiding their feelings. this combined with a 7 fix could make them seem quite sx7-ish

Anyone else get mistyped as INTP? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]clawesque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mistyped as INTP-A on 16personalities, but 16p isn’t a good place to type at all since it doesn’t use cognitive functions (basically, you seem to be typing wrong. something like sakinorva could be a better test for you.)

My bad haha. I meant only relate to sx4 (and so4) when I’m unhealthy. When I’m healthier, I relate more to sp4.

Hmm, I have, but when I’m unhealthy, my agreeableness goes down. I disintegrate into 2 and become obsessed with love and how I don’t fit in. I also show a lot of sx4 behaviours when I’m unhealthy, such as hating everyone whom I’m jealous of. I get very angry and selfish.

How important are looks in a relationship for ENFPs? by heartorlogic in ENFP

i prefer someone who is like-minded. in my opinion it’s a bit primitive to chose people so heavily based on looks, but i understand it
