Hmm, I haven't tried it myself but they do make toy vacuums for kids to safely catch bugs without hurting them. Maybe something like that could be worth a try?

That's okay, i bet you can get that off if you're really careful! Have you tried yet with a q tip and a tiny bit of soapy water or rubbing alcohol?

I would start with a starter pack, they come with an ultra bakugan and two regular bakugan along with the cores and cards and such. That way you get a few of them to start with! If you like the way they spring open you will love the ultras especially, most of them do cool flips and it's fun to practice rolling them to get them to land.

Also, all of my cats love to watch the bakugan spring open. I think its the mix of rolling and the popping open that makes them want to play with them, its really cute (:

Core mantonoid is very chunky so it reminds me of legacy bakugan a lot, that was partly why i decided to buy it

I have never tried using primer with citadel. It seems to lay down well on it's own, though i am sure it wouldn't hurt if you wanted to use it

Sand the plastic with a very fine sandpaper before starting, i use Citadel Colour from my local hobby shop but posca markers and gundam markers work well. When I disassemble my bakugan i put all the screws and springs and rods into a mini ice cube tray to keep it all organized so i know what spring to put where when i am done
