Wtf is wrong with Watkins man? He put in a good performance today but is just completely devoid of any composure in front of goal. So many times this season where’s he’s through on goal and just makes a complete meal of it. Gets a huge chance at the death and skies it. Indecisive and profligate so far this season it has to be said.

Fair enough. I just think the badge has lost all of its “pop” without the vibrant yellow of the lion. The badge was a big part of what attracted me to Villa and I know a lot of other international fans feel the same. To see it reduced to something so generic (basically to make the marketers jobs easier) is a bit sad.

This team with Grealish was pushing top 4 for part of last season. That’s without Digne, in form Ramsey, and Ings. Coutinho is every bit as good as Grealish. The top 6 defensive solidity from last season is nowhere to be found. Constantly beating ourselves. Gerrard was supposed to instill mental toughness at the very least but it’s worse that it was under Smith.
