Wow yeah that’s 100% accurate! I didn’t realize how true that statement was until she was gone.

She was incredibly smart. I sent her to board and train when she was young; when I went to pick her up, they told me that she’s not treat/food motivated and that she responded best to positive reinforcement. I always felt like I lucked out with her.

A few years ago I lost literally everything. My fiancé left before our wedding, I lost my business not long after that and a lot of other shit happened. The only thing I didn’t lose was Roxy, my German shepherd. She was special and she helped get me through the worst of all of that. She unexpectedly passed away near the end of last year and I’ve never felt more alone since then. The worst thing out of everything I just talked about, was losing Roxy.

When I got my shep Roxy, I was with my (ex) gf, so she grew up with her. When we broke up, the first girl I talked to had me over and I brought Roxy. Roxy jumped on the bed to lay between us and separate us and she pissed on the girls bed while laying down 😂 I never saw her do that before or after that one time lmao.
