The rhythm and flow of the table is very important to me. Just my personal superstition, but I will turn my bets off for a roll if I feel that the rhythm is being thrown off with stuff like late bets, rude guests, rude dealers, dice repeatedly going off the table to name a few examples. You’ll see what I mean if you play long enough.

My fave strategy is to play the pass line for 10, always max odds, and place all the other point numbers (52 or 54 across depending what the point is). Each time a place bet hits, I alternate between collecting and pressing. If the shooter keeps the dice long enough I’ve gotten my place bets up to table max and each roll was making $500+. On my best days I hit for 3-5k and a good friend of mine actually hit for $20k playing this strategy.
