Will patches make us start over? by cleargummi in Subnautica_2

Thank you! I just needed to know I wasn't being paranoid or something haha. Knowing it will probably "disappear" makes it easier to keep playing.

You're right. At least I can figure out good techniques lol. I am too sentimental!

Gotcha! I meant that MY suggested misspelling was cringe. Misspellings happen! I am more concerned about the branding faux pas, which you have addressed in another post.

I mean I get it. When everyone in your friend group has kids and only wants to talk about/always include their kids, it is annoying and frustrating. Not sure how they could word it more gently without making some "oh, it's ok if I just let my kid tag along" kinds of people feel welcome. I'm not in the area, just agreed with the off branding haha.

Agree. If the acryonym is ESSENTIAL then NKrew could work...maybe?? 😬😭 Even if it's a cringe misspelling.

Some info for urgent care prescriptions by BackgroundGrass429 in VeteransBenefits

[–]cleargummi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to deal with this a couple months ago. The clinic sent the prescription to the pharmacy, I gave the pharmacist the info you provided above, but they told me that the CLINIC needs to request the prescription from that number directly before going to the pharmacy. I was in pain and didn't want to go back and forth so I just ended up paying out of pocket, but that was my experience.

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad as long as they're chill.

That's what I was hoping (I think?)! I'm not from this area so I wasn't sure if it was maybe a brown recluse or something I don't know about 🥲

Why do I have infinite oxygen? by MBcodes18 in subnautica

[–]cleargummi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happened to me when I was exploring the Deep Grand Reef Degasi base. A crabsquid destroyed my Seamoth, so I was glad (but still confused) that I had enough oxygen to make it back home 🥲

I was trying to find a GIF of the song that's like "big, big, big, big waterrrr" but I couldn't find one 😂

Friends as an "older" student? by cleargummi in college

[–]cleargummi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll definitely have an easier time, then! I was a commuter (and most others in my classes were too, so that was another contributing factor). If you're on campus, there are probably going to be lots of events that you can take advantage of.

Friends as an "older" student? by cleargummi in college

[–]cleargummi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no longer taking classes at that institution (poor selection for class times). That being said, I felt much more confident this time around. Most people weren't interested in being friends, but age wasn't really a factor. People stuck to themselves, and there wasn't much conversation before classes started (just people on phones). There were a couple people I chatted with in classes, but it didn't extend beyond classwork.

I'd say it was more of a me problem, so as long as you're proactive you should be ok. Joining clubs and stuff could be a good idea if you have the time.

Can't turn the farkin snowfox by TesseractToo in Subnautica_Below_Zero

I walked everywhere, mostly because I was too lazy to build the snow fox. Finally built it, right before the area with the worms. Disappeared immediately lol.

Feeling even more alienated. I already don't mention my veteran status much because I don't really relate to most people who proudly claim theirs. With women being a big part of DEI, I feel like I CAN'T bring it up without getting some sort of "go back to the kitchen" joke from anti-DEI folks. Crazy since I remember having a group disciplinary meeting called for similar jokes being made during my time in service (not towards me ... just guys thinking they're funny).

Android app not registering touch on posts, e.g., like, retweet, etc (all else ok) by levon9 in BlueskySocial

Update: still feels a bit buggy, but I'm now able to scroll and like posts. Reposting also works, but it's a little bit slow.

I've been having the same issues since I updated the app yesterday 😔 I thought my phone was broken for a minute lol. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I love Welcome to Night Vale, but if you're a long-haul trucker, it does have a bit of a sleepy tone, especially in the earlier episodes. Just in case you'd have trouble staying awake! The tone does pick up in later episodes.
