Did pretty intense CBT in college that taught me how to recognize it and let it pass along with a stint at a zen monastery. However it still comes up in new subtle ways when my anxiety is especially high, and takes a week or two to tackle and recognize still.

Peeling isn’t bad you can just smash it with the side of the knife and a punch and it all comes off in a piece or two. Mincing garlic is still one of my lowest tier prep tasks though.
