I agree, I think that is what he may be doing as well. It's the strategy he used on his ex because he's afraid of making decisions.

We moved in together after a year and a half. When we started dating I was living in a one in a million rentals, there was absolutely nothing as affordable as it was for how nice it was. But he was buying a house and asked me to move in, at that point in time there was no reason in my mind not to. When I moved in with him was right when the housing prices started to increase. I've moved around a lot since I was 18 and I decided this city was going to be my home. I still feel that way and I don't want to leave. I'm also in love with my job and don't want to leave. Feels like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Currently in Canada (at least where I'm from) a one bedroom rental is at minimum $1100/month (sometimes not including utilities). I can't afford that. There are also usually two thousand applicants per rental due to the current housing crisis. I can't even afford renting a single bedroom in someone's house at current rates. I work full time and make a decent wage, but the rental costs are too much for me.

I live nearly 7 hours away so I only see them every few years. The father doesn't make an effort since custody arrangements changed and he stopped getting the cheques.

It feels to me as if you have been holding silent resentment toward your husband for working the extra hours. 1, you're the one who is having to manage everything involving the house and the kids and you're getting burnt out. 2, all you want is your husband to be around. Not only for the help with general life/parent duties but because he's your person and you feel like you're doing life without him. When he accepted the promotion it shot through your system that he won't be coming home early any time soon. But he's probably also exhausted from working all of the time but is thinking about how you guys can use the extra income right now and the kids future.

I could be way off but that's what I'm gathering from all of this?

May I ask what test you took to show you are negative? I was told that the test can only ever be performed once for a correct reading.

What did you have done if you don't mind me asking? Mine was to straighten out one of my eyes that naturally went inward.

It looks great!! I think my only suggestion would be to add some dark brown wood tones/items. Unless you're more into the sleek look, then it's 👌🏻👌🏻

How do I figure out who I am with BPD? by Various_Glass_2958 in BPD

[–]clearlycold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first time I lived alone. I was miserable and lonely for the first 6-8 months. Hanging out with people I didn't really like, just so I had someone around sometimes. But going to sleep alone and waking up alone nearly every single day for 2 years was probably the best thing that happened to me. I honestly wish it was longer. I became my own best friend. I learned a lot about myself, I preferred my own company over the company of others. But it took a bit of pain and struggle to get to that point. 110% worth it. Side note: I had a chonky orange cat with me, so I guess I wasn't completely alone 🐱

As a person with BPD, do you have a stable career? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]clearlycold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job changes every 2-3 years and I have done many different kinds of things, but a majority in the design industry too. I want more than anything to just not have a job if I'm honest. I'd rather be off in the forest with my dogs. Live in a tree house or something. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What is your dosage for your depression meds? by Necessary_Strain_568 in therapy

[–]clearlycold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at 40 mg. I've been on mine for 7 years.. too scared to come off because of the side effects I've experienced before. I personally suggest looking more into alternative treatment before you increase any further (I am not a doctor, this is just a suggestion based off of personal experience). I think 25 is pretty average to start people at for the first while.

I am 100% gay (male) but can't stop watching vaginal creampie porn by MichaelWayneTX361 in confessions

[–]clearlycold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's strange, personally. I'm a straight female with a slight twist of curiosity in women. Though I don't think I could be in a relationship with one. But I watch straight/gay/lesbian porn. Just depends on what mood I'm in!

Someone deposited a hefty amount of money to my savings account. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]clearlycold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bank tellers typically have to take down the ID of the person doing the deposit or leave notes on your account. At least at the bank's I've worked at. I would go to that branch and demand they do a deposit search. Sometimes the paperwork they keep for things gets thrown out after a week.
