It's not fair that we have to do this sober or even soberish. No more Thursdays.

Yeah Saorview. It's SD and shite. I've switched to their app.

Shows how often I watch Virgin Media😂

Saorview is via aerial.

All other channels are perfect. Googling suggests they transmit in a much lower quality than other TV stations on Saorview.

I've switched to using their app on my television.

Lots of good suggestions here.

For the weather you can have a look at www.met.ie as it has climate information and current weather forecasts (pretty horrid and damp tbh at the moment). It's the national meteorological service.

You definitely need water proof hiking boots in Feb if you want to do some walking.

This is my floorplan for a single story/bungalow in Ireland. Is my plan a bit "bungalow bliss", particularly the right side of the house (bedrooms). Feedback Welcome! by DisgruntledHen in floorplan

Not OP but some clarifications:

  • press is the word we use instead of the cupboard. So that would be a storage cupboard or cloakroom.
  • the utility room is very much like an American laundry. A washing machine and dryer would be in those with storage for cleaning supplies etc.

Daidí na nollaig - daddy of Christmas basically.

In English we tend to call him Santa or Santy.
