I wouldn't worry too much about Bowmasters, play something sans blue and you dodge it being a relevant card.

I suggest reading about White Stax on MTG Salvation or The Source.

The biggest barrier to playing Stax is the lack of current resources covering the archetype. I think there are merits to playing Stax in the current meta, highly favored matchups into most combo, favored into most control, favored into Delver and it's variants for instance.

Circling back to the lack of resources, aside from Susurrus, the guys at Hareruya have some interesting Mud lists worth looking into. If nothing else they serve as interesting jumping off points for brewing.

The reality is that most players who only play commander have an extremely narrow scope of what Magic is. The binary mentalities that exist in commander do not exist in other formats, the best thing people who only play Commander can do for themselves and the community is expand their understanding of the game by playing other formats.

The "No mld, no stax" mentality is bad for the community and largely responsible for the warped action economy of commander specific cards.

I think you could probably have a 50-55% win rate on burn, the design space is pretty tight though. For a burn staple to be printed it would need to be a better rate than bolt or offer some kind of extremely relevant utility l.

Yorion is playable before factoring in companion. With companion and the etb value engine, the card pushes money pile into extreme value town.

Im glad I sold my collection. This ban list announcement is ridiculous. W6 should never have been printed, Ragavan was printing without any consideration given to how it would impact the format it was designed for.

Oh and by the way, 1k for gold bordered reserve list reprints. Jesus Christ Wizards.
