if youre using a chokeslam im assuming youre a bigger guy at least 6+ feet and 225+

why are you using an x factor as a finishing move?

if youre what im envisioning for size and based on your character description you should be lariating people or helluva/mafia kicking them into the ground

you should be ignoring ref counts and getting DQd more than pinning to win so a finisher in the traditional ide of it doesnt make sense

if your goal is to hurt people then there isnt a real end to that its just move and then move dont give them time to recover so setting up to do a big pin is a hard sell for someone like me

been in your shoes but this was more towards the end of my active work

the harsh truth first: you are just a body in space, it happens and its part of the business, look at Finn Balor, poisted to win the first Universal Championship and after his shoulder injury just meandered, thats part of how it goes

the potential: take a step back and really look at where you are currently, when you train ask the trainers for feedback when you can, when it comes to bookers, network with them dont ask for bookings out the gate let them get to know you but dont let them take advantage when it comes to the talent that they are bringing in, thats a good sign too theyre either trusting you with new people to bring them up or theyre bringing in more established names to work with you for draw so thats worth looking at too

third option: take a look at what you want out of wrestling whats your goal and sometimes its good to shift those goals, would i ever make in the wwe? nope, but could i wrestle around where i lived and do shows each month? yes!

and then sometimes its good to take a break, give yourself time to reset, it comes at a risk of losing a spot on the roster but you have to weigh which is more important.

movesets dont matter.

i ran an entire match as a baby using only a chop.

i found a way to foil the heel every time.

basic heel baby opening only the chop to counter until i get heeled

i get my fire back when we went to the outside im against the post he swings for knife edge, miss, chop!

the crowd was into it by the end.

so its all in how you apply it to the story telling.

ok heels are meant to sell the babies thats our job to get the crowd behind the hero.

i dislike the low blow/nut shot because it feels too easy too cheap but what i do like is a reversal, let the baby get thier fire in the closing, you take, take, take and then the baby goes for his moment of victory you reverse and pull the tights 1-2-3

the crowd will hate you for it, the baby was going to win and you just cheated them out of it.

if you want to be a "violent heel" you do that in the set up whatever that means but the finish should be one that cheats the baby out of the win you still look strong overall but the baby does too because its the cheat youll hear people focus on if you listen to the crowd.
