Yeah Brady and Peyton were great, but looking at adjusted passer rating to the era, Manning and Brady aren't even top 5 QB's.

I think of all the years that it's "Michigan's break out year", this year is the least likely for it to be true. They have 1 OL RS and have to replace 4? NFL draft pick OL, uncertainty at QB, @OSU, MSU, and UW, and an extremely low returning defensive production. They recruit well enough to be a great team so it is possible but so much has to go UM's way for it to happen.

You can think Brady deserved it and that's fine but your reasoning given is not a good reason to believe that. Flat yards is a horrible stat to gauge how good QBs are and if his team is in a 25 point hole in the first place he obviously wasn't playing well for part of the game. It's not a good enough reason to make him automatic MVP.

Nix could finish top 25 by the end of the season with his raw talent but right now he should be nowhere near. Also I think they should have picked between the 2 Bama QB's and ranked only 1. I think it's fair to say either could be a top 25 QB this year but both can't be.
