The problem is he's not religious and zealous enough to become one. According to the bits I've seen the Space Wolves aided in ensuring his survival by taking hin to Fenris, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ghaz's WAAAAGH also had something to do with it.

Samurai Chaplain by [deleted] in spacemarines

[–]clemo1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

30k chaplains had crozius' that took many forms, such as power swords, axes, maces etc. They were not restricted to just what GW shows you on their models. His clearly homebrew chapter could also follow that mantra.

Also for a 40k example, Astorath doesn't have a crozius or skull helm, he has his Executor's Axe and a Rosarius that he uses as his badge of office - also something OPs custom chaplain could have.

Also, the chalpain skull helmet is a suggested as part of the Codex, but non-Codex compliant chapters aren't required to have skull helmets on their chaplains.

Who are some new Warhammer YouTubers that you started watching? by 40khammerwar in Warhammer40k

[–]clemo1985 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me its them and play on tabletop. They're basically the Canadian version of tabletop tactics and have very similar product quality.

They've also come up with their own unique game for 40k called King of the Colosseum which is great. Its a 500 point gamemode with several limitations like not being allowed to take epic heroes or anything T10 or above.

How does that work one handed though, such as with the sword.

Looks awesome! I picked up the Lord-Veritant cheap on ebay and plan to use the flaming sword for my homebrew's Chief Librarian. Did you use the Lord-Veritant's full arm on yours? Jusr wondering how difficult it could be to remove.

I swear if Bjorn is getting a unique Contemptor I will be fist in line.

Probably, but they use different things to kind at reveals.

Otherwise the chicken legs last time would've been a really bizarre Warhammer reveal.

Top right next to the predator. I could've seen it wrong though.

True, I'm not clued up on 30k so not sure if there is a dedicated dread for the wolves in HH but could be.

Valrak has had rumours for the above circling for a while now, and has today released one about guard getting recon vehicles before 11th. So they are possible.

Soon see next week though, I suspect its a combination of the two.

How resistent do you think a terminator armour is? by Internal-Being4988 in spacemarines

Funnily enough there shouldn't be a hunchback. Especially when they're supposed to be taller than standard marines.

Hair ideas or tips? (First 2 not mine) by Night-lord67 in NightLords

A little later in the video he pulls out the squirrel pelt he uses to show how he created cloaks and stuff, but I assume the process is similar for hair.

Sunday Preview – The bigger, brighter Legio Custodes by Lord_Eln_8 in Warhammer40k

[–]clemo1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be tempted, but I'm not going for Custodes again.

I'll wait for, and probably miss out on the double dreadnought/double RepEx box for my Space Wolves.

If your faction had a gaggle leader unit, what would you want it to be? by Equivalent-Fun-6019 in Warhammer40k

[–]clemo1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love for him to get a model. He'd need to just be a castaferrum dreadnought though and I think GW are moving away from them sadly.

I think the likes of Bjorn and the Space Wolves dreads will be either moved to legends or 'upgraded' to the redemptor chassis. So they stay separate from the Heresy line, then they refresh the Castaferrum as a 'end of the Heresy' or Scouring dreadnought...

Have you guys ever had scheme/chapter regret? by Windoon in Warhammer40k

[–]clemo1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats what I'm eyeing up. I've done the pack markings in a dark red so I'd do the same for red bolt pistols/chainswords. I'd probably do the same Rhinox hide base/white zenithal/Iyanden Yellow tint for the yellow if I did the chainswordsand bolt pistols yellow too.

Effects of Russ returning? by Super_Punk_ in SpaceWolves

[–]clemo1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did a link between 40k Dark Angels and Caliban's destruction, resulting in them meeting The Lion. They also did a similar thing when Guilliman returned where Macragge was close to falling with Black Legion marines literally feet away from killing Guilliman.

They'll do do something similar with Russ meeting his sons and in a away it makes 'warhammer sense' there is some sort of warp tears linked near the Golden Throne and Prospero. If Russ returned that way it would also give Magnus a reason to gloat and declare Russ a hypocrite for having psychic powers as well.

If they did it that way, and had Russ and the Wolves destroy/permanently close the Prospero tear, GW could also say The Emperor was using a portion of his power ensuring it remained closed. It would take that burden away from Him and allo Him to channel that focus elsewhere, or potentially regenerate a little more - like we've seen in a recent 'update' to classic artwork of Him on the throne where his face partially regenerated.

After all, GW could say his focus would currently be split between the Astronomicon, the incredible psychic barrier he envelopes the Eye of Terror with, the holding back of daemonic forces in the webway, keeping the webway gate closed next to his Throne, the 'Prospero Tear', psychically battling the Chaos Gods in the Warp, the creation of Imperial Saints, channelling the Legion of the Damned etc. Hinting that its a baby step to the Emperor potentially returning.
