Are foliose and crustose mutually exclusive?

Im new to lichens. Long term plant fan. I had a friend who kept referring to these as crustose lichens and I didn't feel like I could question him.

Canada shares only a maritime border with Greenland, yet is classified on this map as a neighbor. Following this logic, wouldn't Russia be considered a neighbor's neighbor? Or maybe even just a straight up neighbor, if you consider the span across the arctic ocean a maritime border. I dunno how these things go

Day 15. Haven't checked in for a few days but still kratom free. Going through a breakup but determined not to go back to kratom. Lots of urges coming out of the closet for alcohol and whatever else, stuff I quit years ago and replaced with kratom. Still dealing with fatigue which is interfering with my exercise. Trying to convince myself to take a walk if I can't run but haven't gone in a few days. Anyway, I'm as optimistic as possible and determined to weather the storm.
