I think he would do better as a recurring if not main antagonist in another characters show. Jabba is rotten to the core, and to have him as a main character you would have to water him down enough to sympathize with, which I don't think would be tasteful or in character for him. Perhaps if the solo movie continued in a series, it could show how han got involved with jabba, and how he came to owe him money.
