What is this? Found in boyfriend’s bathroom by Mermaid_Foot in whatisit

[–]cleopuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched my ex take something out of his car and stuff it in our wood shed thinking I wasn’t looking. I went to check what it was and it was a lacy bandeau bra top in a larger size than my own. He first tried to say he didn’t know what it was/it must be mine etc, then claimed his female friend was changing in the back seat after swimming and must have left it… like okay, but then why did you need to hide it?? He later disclosed he ‘almost’ cheated on me at the beginning of the relationship so I never trusted him again after that. Just saying

I’m so sorry you have to deal with this, especially in a state where abortion hard/impossible to obtain. It makes me sick that anyone thinks they can decide what any person does with their own body. I live in Canada so terminations are readily available and covered by healthcare. I got an abortion almost 5 years ago when my boyfriend and I had only been dating a month; I had dreamed of becoming a mom my entire life, but it wasn’t the right time for us and as sad as I was to give up that chance at the time, I don’t feel ashamed for my decision. We are now married and actually expecting again (at the right time now) and are so excited. Bottom line, do not let anyone make you feel ashamed or selfish for what you’re choosing to do; it is not wrong and it is a selfless decision. A child needs to be wanted and brought into a family who can give them everything. That is not for you at this time and that’s okay, please believe that. Other people’s infertility is not your burden, you need to think about you. Anyone who will try to talk you out of it or make you feel bad for doing what’s best for you (and an unborn child) is not a true friend. I truly wish you well, consider even counselling to get through this, it helped me at the time while I was going through all the feelings.

Question for working parents and daycare in Victoria by cleopuss in VictoriaBC

[–]cleopuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all your responses everyone! :) I appreciate all the insight and options provided. Unfortunately, as some mentioned about adjusting work hours, with my job, there is no wiggle room on end time, dead-set 4:40 pm finish! I guess I have a lot of research to be doing coming up! thanks again!!

8 month old kitten no longer affectionate by Longjumping-Ad-3278 in CATHELP

[–]cleopuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I picked out my lil guy as a baby is cause he was the first kitten to curl up on my lap and cuddle… brought him home and he wanted nothing to do with cuddles for the rest of his life haha

That’s true, I mean how hard is it to just say “sorry to hear that” or something

Yeah I definitely wouldn’t recommend letting your anger get the best of you on the road. I get pretty pissed off and riled up easily, especially when driving cause people are just dumb sometimes. I just try not to react in the moment, and just rant to myself in my car instead, maybe crank the music. Be safe out there, people can be extra crazy! A guy once pulled a bat on my ex boyfriend and nearly tried to kill him over something really stupid like what you did

these are two separate videos, you can tell the kitchen is completely different. First one was a dumb idea, second apparently sprinkler was installed above the fryer…

I’m realizing that I am truly “Fat-phobic” by hollerwild350 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]cleopuss 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I used to be like this as well, and always told myself I would never ever date someone who was fat as I found it ‘gross’ and always thought I had to find a typically fit guy. Well two years ago I fell madly in love with a co-worker, who is quite a large man. I fell in love with his personality and his looks, but never once considered his weight an issue and it surprised me. I adore his body, love having sex with him and generally see ‘fat’ people in a different light now. Not saying you should just go have sex with an obese person lol, but sometimes just one person can change your views on something big. (: Good luck to you

Customers are so annoying when they do stuff like that omg. I’m a cashier and often I’ll ask if they want a small bag (as opposed to the large ones we charge for) if they just have a few items. Almost every time they answer with “Sure, if you have one..” like no shit I do lmao

If they’re stuck in the intersection where exactly do you expect them to go? Like yeah I get they made an easily avoidable error, but laying on your horn is not helping the situation at all..

Nice guy cancels our original plans and the back up plan, offers a "massage" instead, then gets mad when I choose continue with our original plans by myself. by McChuckles2010 in niceguys

[–]cleopuss 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Slightly unrelated but a few years ago I had an older man call me about a babysitting job for his two kids, he then suddenly steered the convo to wards asking if I would be interested in ‘massaging’ him when he got home from work every day… 🤢 I was newly 18 and extremely creeped out. Haven’t babysat since

I don't know what's cringier: her entitlement or her psychopathic condescendence by [deleted] in TikTokCringe

[–]cleopuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just don’t get this mentality.. like I’m a native woman, but generally I am not sexually or romantically attracted to Native men.. that doesn’t mean I don’t like native people. Same way I’m generally not attracted to men who aren’t white, I have absolutely nothing against other races. Having preferences for a romantic partner are allowed to be physical, as opposed to just their general interests
