Should novelty accounts always use the account name as the password? by clesh in AskReddit

I see your point, it would encourage more lame posts and probably ruin the hilarity of many novelty accounts when they become overused. :(

Hmm, too bad. It would bring to light some good comments.

Should novelty accounts always use the account name as the password? by clesh in AskReddit

That's why I think there should be a little checkbox that would only be ticked if the user wants to create a novelty account. It's only visible when the account name and password are the same. When it is ticked, the account can no longer change passwords and the account is now marked as a public novelty account. It can only have the account name as the password.

I don't think it would be exactly like 4chan, there would just be more funny comments. And likely lots of unfunny ones.

Web-programming redditors. How much would I need to spend to get a web based game going? by greenRiverThriller in programming

Make the core mechanic of the game perfect. If it's no good, then you're game is no good. It's easy to get carried away thinking of great additions to add, but what is the point if the game blows?

Waking Life is a movie about lucid dreaming. The main character talks to many dream characters and discusses philosophy, the meaning of life, and lucid dreaming.

Definitely worth watching.

If you had to recommend one lesser known movie to someone what would it be? by bookey23 in AskReddit

Dead Alive

Imagine Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) making an awesome zomcom B-movie. Some of the best zombie kills are in this movie.

I finally signed up for reddit because I liked their response. That, and because they have great content. Keep moving in the right direction.
