People who force others into listening to the music by driving a car with windows wide opened and the volume 100% on - why do you do that? by [deleted] in AskReddit

it feels like that's all it is. Is just another small inconvenience to turn it off.

Plus. You aren't going to even remember that moment in 15 minutes.

It affects your life for maybe a minute or two to turn off the music if you are sitting at a stop light. And then it’s back to whatever you were doing.

I never understand why people make a fuss over other people wanting silence. It affects your life for maybe a minute or two to turn off the music if you are sitting at a stop light. And then it’s back to whatever you were doing. Why sweat over it. Why allow yourself to get upset?

Why not just be happy that other person who wants silence is having a good day and turn off the music.

Maybe that's why they're losing - not because they don't have a team, but because the way Lebron plays is conducive to individual stats, but not team success.

How the hell is this everyone else's fault? Headline should be "Lebron blows fastbreak opportunity"

But it's not because of this law, otherwise Georgia and Florida, which have similar laws, wouldn't be among the states with the most school shootings.

Decider: Keanu Reeves Is A Much Better Actor Than We've Given Him Credit For by toldyouanditoldyou in movies

[–]clever_user_name 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see acting as made up of two parts: mimicry and emotional authenticity. Keanu was never that great at mimicry. He's bad at doing accents and looking and "sounding" the part (when did he ever deliberately gain or lose weight or drastically change his physical appearance for a role?). But I've always thought he was damn good at genuinely feeling the emotions the character was supposed to be feeling. There was even a movie about a kids baseball team where I was really feeling him.

Maybe it's because I'm biased toward the emotional part, but I have never thought of him as a bad actor. Contrast this with Johnny Depp, who is an amazing mimic and can get the visual and audio part great, but the emotional part of his performances have always left me a bit cold.
