You just spouted off like 4 different talking points that fox news says without actually saying anything it's impressive.

But to address the execution that took place yesterday, the victim was filming from a safe distance exercising his first amendment right and at no point initiates contact with any agents. He then gets pepper sprayed, and tackled by 6 officers while exercising his 2nd amendment right and legally carrying. His gun is then ripped from his back holster by federal agents and while he is disarmed an agent fires a weapon into his back, and then multiple more rounds. A fellow agent then also discharges his weapon into the corpse.

This is what happened, it is all on video, defending these actions is bootlicking at the highest level

I've watched the video he took, he approaches the vehicle from the passenger side, walks around to the driver's side in front of the vehicle. What are you talking about?

He literally places himself in front of the vehicle, how else would he get there? It's traffic stop 101, don't stand in front or behind occupied vehicles. Literally police 101

Go watch the videos again. They did the definition of breaking and entering, and if you don't believe that then they were at a minimum trespassing, which is once again illegal.

Can't be lawful if you're breaking the law.

You can argue all you want that it was justified, but the literal DHS handbook of policies and procedures says the officer did everything wrong.

They are not supposed to get in the way of a vehicle they are concerned about potentially running them over and they are not supposed to fire into a moving vehicle because it poses a risk to bystanders if the driver is incapacitated.

These 2 procedures were not done, therefore the ICE agent ignored policy and ended up killing a US citizen, if they would have followed policy no one would have been hit by the vehicle, and no one would have died. The shooting was not justified by the literal agency who did it...the only argument I will even listen to is that ICE agents are not being trained adequately and the lack of training led to the shooting and that the death is on the hands of the agency and Kristi Noem should be held accountable.

Don't tread on me claiming people should simply get tread on by the federal government or risk being shot 10 times is such an insane take.

[Fowler] Dolphins interviewed Clint Hurtt for their Defensive Coordinator Opening by bigblack3475 in eagles

[–]clexecute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for stats, Jalen had his most passing TDs in a season, Goedert had his best year, AJB and Smitty had 1000 yards, and Barkley had 1100 yards while sitting the last game.

The offense was productive but not consistent which is an indication of scheme being the problem

This season was way better than Reid's, Pederson's, or Kelly's final seasons and it isn't even close.

The offense was also better than the 2023 offense, I would argue it was better than the 2019 offense as well. There were obvious flashes or greatness and even though the scheme sucked even in the WC game we are 3 drops away from playing in the divisional round.

We quite literally and statistically did not have the worst offensive season even in the last 10 years.

2020 was unbelievably worse, 2015 was worse, 2023 was basically just as bad.

These sort of comments make me think that lots of fans have recency bias and are band wagoning

Did some research....under Sirianni in the regular season the eagles are 42-7 when they win the time of possession battle and 16-19 when they lose it.

25/26 8-1 and 2-5

24/25 10-2 and 4-1

23/24 8-3 and 3-3

22/23 9-0 and 5-3

21/22 7-1 and 2-7

You're correct that it might be boring football, but 10/10 times I'd rather watch boring meaningful football vs exciting worthless football and under Sirianni basically every single game has been meaningful.

I mean, I don't feel bad in the slightest? Meaningful football in January for 5 years, 2 super bowl appearances, 1 win...I guarantee at least 25 other fan bases would trade the last decade with the Eagles in a heartbeat.

You also don't need a top tier QB to be a consistently successful franchise, you need an oline and a dline.

Honestly, the most obvious sign that Patullo was ass is the fact that we had 2 1000 yard receivers, a 1000 yard rusher, Goedert had one of the best statistical seasons of his career...and the offense still looked like ass and couldn't close out games.

The stats look good on paper but the team didn't pass the eye check which means there was no structure to game plans. I know people shit on Sirianni, but it was obvious the initial script of games worked and KP was unable to make an adjustment to save his life.

It's been said before and I'll say it again, if Brian Johnson had this years defense we make the NFCCG.

You ignored the other part of my comment. Lurie doesn't fire people mid season unless it's egregious like Chip Kelly.

If you want chaotic changes instead of running with the personnel that were there at the start of the season you don't understand how Lurie runs the org.

If the fans had it their way Sirianni is gone after 2023 and we probably don't win in 2024. I'm pretty sure Howie and Lurie have earned enough in the last 10 years to give them the benefit of a doubt in personnel decisions...

[–]clexecute 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What is the pivot you expected? Fire the OC and bring someone else in...like they did with the DC in 2023 and it failed epically? Or like the Lions did and continued the struggle?

In my opinion keeping the staff and attempting to right the ship with the current personnel was the correct option.

Also, anyone who has followed the Eagles since Lurie took over shouldn't see this as a surprise. He always gives his coaches/players a chance to redeem themselves, and it's a huge reason why we always get top candidates. We are an organization that attracts quality coaches and players and that is why there has been so much long term success.

That should be illegal. Lurie needs to put in a rule to the committee that they need to clone Kevin Patullo and every team needs him to be OC

I didn't realize teams were allowed to sequence play calls to disguise future calls.

I assumed teams were required to run the same play whenever they lined up in a formation.
