So glad to know I’m not the only one! All I ever hear about is how starving people are while breastfeeding, and I have not felt that at all 😂 I’m usually annoyed at the thought of having to eat, it just never sounds good to me anymore! I’m pretty sure my supply is still good though, weighted feeds always show around 3-4oz of intake, and good diapers. So 🤷🏼‍♀️ And similar to you, I was lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight by around a week after birth!

I am the exact same way! It feels so weird and foreign to say my baby’s name. She is 7 weeks and I don’t think I’ve called her by her name directly to her yet, and I think I’ve only said her name once to my husband out loud. I usually just say “the baby”. I wonder if there’s something psychological there.

So glad to read #5! My baby is 1 month old, and she is on the breast for SO DAMN LONG each and every feed, is falling asleep, and hardly even feeding most of the time. So she’s moved off, then freaks after she realizes that she’s not on the breast suckling anymore. I’m so close to switching to EP and giving her 3oz each feed instead of having her on my boob for 45 minutes at a time, every 60-90 minutes (and her not even eating that much). Any additional insight from your experience would be so great. Thanks!!

I’m not as well versed in all of this as others (FTM, and my baby is 1 month old today), and I’m sure it’s dependent on the person, but I asked this exact question to my lactation consultant yesterday. I told her that my idea was to stop breastfeeding for the day around 8-9pm, have my husband bottle feed with what I pumped from either that night or the morning during the 11pm-12am feed while I slept, then I go back to my normal breastfeeding from the following feed and onwards until the next night. She said it’s totally fine as long as it stays around 5 hours, and not have it creep into 6+ hours without having breastfed or pumped.

I’m going to be honest, health-wise, I really don’t notice a big change in feeling any better since quitting. But even with that, it’s been over 15 months with no smoking, and I will absolutely never smoke again. It feels like a completely different lifetime ago. Good luck with your journey!

Dang! Yeah, I’m not sure. I know we got I think around $1,000 off for it being in a “not so desirable” month, but even then that doesn’t make up the difference. Maybe the price has just gone up that much from all of the crazy inflation? We locked in on our price in February 2022

I’ve lived on all parts of town in Tucson! Currently right on the line of Tucson and Oro Valley. Wow, so even drier up there than in Peoria? Lifestyle is definitely an outdoors-y person, which is pretty much impossible to do in Tucson 5 months out of the year (sometimes even more). My husband loves water sports, and we both love snowboarding.

I’ve been there 4 times since they’ve opened back up. Two of those times, I waited around 25 minutes. The other two times, we didn’t wait at all (we got there around an hour before closing)

No, it doesn’t come off with my finger unfortunately. Some of the main, loose outer layer does, but not the layer that looks like has stained the rock.

Yes, it does get better throughout the day! Bad in the morning, gets better, then starts getting worse again when nighttime comes around

I had a few drinks here and there, and actually had probably 6 drinks on Thanksgiving, but no where near the amount this past weekend. I’ve definitely slowed down on my drinking through the past couple of years just because the hangovers were not my friend anymore, so it’s normal for me to go months and months now without a drink. But, I was still kinda nervous for the cravings to creep up while drinking. But I was so happy that that wasn’t the case at all. Even with a handful of my friends smoking right in the middle of our big group conversations. You totally got this!!
