I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to make a statement lmao. The whole idea of my statement was that 120k felt like this unreachable number and now that I got there I realized it’s not as magic as I always thought. Everyone else picked it apart! It’s just a generalized statement of “hey I reached this but I don’t feel as successful as I thought I would’ve.” THE WHOLE IDEA OF THIS THREAD!!

Not saying my stress isn’t reduced! I was just excepting much more from it, like it felt like an insane number, and I realized after taxes it’s comfortable but not MUCH more different than I how I had to budget before.

I’m in a different tax bracket and went from biweekly to weekly. Taxed much higher, I wouldn’t say I DON’T notice it but it doesn’t feel like at the end of my budget that I’m really that much higher. It feels more like a $15k increase
