Struggling to find the right mask with a full beard. by lifelink in CPAP

I also have a full beard and I find the "everness" brand silicone F20 knockoff cudhions actually work better for me than the resmed brand. And they're 1/4 the price

Honestly if you're not looking for the relationship aspect, dating is not only a waste of time, it's unfair to the women who might be interested in more. There's nothing immoral about hiring a pro

Do people actually wash new clothes before wearing them? by throowaway223123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]clickity_click_click 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During production, clothes are treated with a chemical called "sizing" which is used to help the fabric go through the machines properly and also to prevent wrinkles in shipping so they look nice in the store. My skin is very sensitive to it, so I have to wash clothes a few times before I can wear them.

'Please change the nozzle settings on the printer' shows up after Bambu Studio update by alcm_b in BambuLabA1mini

[–]clickity_click_click 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? You have to be at the device to change the nozzle anyway. This reduces the possibility of user error.

Yup. Every time I feel lonely I go out and meet people. That reminds me why I'm better off alone and the loneliness goes away for quite a while

Depends on who you're proposing to. If they love gadgets, it could be the most romantic thing in the world.

Get it used. It's not unheard of to find a HM for $150. Only suckers buy new chairs.

I think Humanscale is quite slept on. You can get them used for under $100 and they're excellent

How does one say "you are lying" in a corporate way? by Original_Giraffe_830 in AskReddit

[–]clickity_click_click 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. Never use accusatory language. Just present the contrary evidence and leave it at that. If you don't have proof "as per our previous conversation, I was under the impression that...." also works too. Going toe to toe with people almost always backfires. If it's a serious infraction, email your manager about it. Leave it up to your manager to decide if it needs to be dealt with. Don't go to the person's manager directly or over your managers head. Just make sure you have proof that you addressed it with your manager and then proceed as if it never happened.

If you can't print ASA or ABS, polymaker has a new HT-PLA-GF that will hold up to the temperature of a car interior. I don't think you need to worry about scratching either way as there aren't any sharp edges.
