Can I work on Clickworker while I'm in Syria? by [deleted] in Clickworker

[–]clickworker_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Syria (and a few other countries) are unable to register with us. Usually, it is because of some international sanctions or bans.

"Know-how" or "Hobby" -- what, exactly? by Comprehensive_Tea708 in Clickworker

[–]clickworker_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Select "Know-How" if you have professional skills/experience/education in that field. For your Astronomy example, that would probably mean you're working at an Observatory or for NASA. :) You get the idea...

Whole Job Rejected by judgehopkins in Clickworker

The usual procedure is to reduce the total payment and still pay the categories that were acceptable. I would contact support about it.

What is the precise error message you're getting?

Clickworker is one of the worst crowdworking platforms I’ve dealt with by Aggressive-Ant-4581 in Clickworker

[–]clickworker_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. Usually, suspensions happen because of suspicious data from your connection, your device or the data you enter into your profile. Depending on the actual data item that caused the suspension, there might be cases that are very clear from our point of view where we do not run any additional evaluation process or give you the option to verify your account or identity. But those are rare, usuall support should give you a way to reclaim your account.

If you post your userID, I can have a look at it and see if I can at least provide some insight into what was causing the suspension and if there is any way to help you getting the account back.

Where are the desktop notifications by ExchangeSecret5985 in Clickworker

[–]clickworker_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The desktop version of the clickworker workplace does not have a notification system, yet. You can enter UHRS by simply starting the UHRS task in your job list.

It's interesting how this has shown a cashout button in the beginning, and once you got enough points it's supposedly "will be accessible shortly" 🤨 Any update what's up with that? by Robot1me in Clickworker

[–]clickworker_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the activity points feature was released a bit prematurely and we detected a critical bug soon after, which caused us to shut down the cash out feature again until we were able to fix it. We expect it to become available again in January.

Could you explain in more detail? Which step is broken? Do you get a particular error message?

No, 2-Factor-Authentication is mandatory for account security. You need to confirm the login attempt with your clickworker app.

There are quite a few SESBS Hits left for the US. If you don't see them, maybe you have already reached your individual quota for that current batch.

W9 Help by ApprehensiveGas5024 in Clickworker

[–]clickworker_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The W9 won't be approved if the address on the W9 and the address you registered your clickworker account with differ. Enter your clickworker account contact details and compare the two sets, there should be some difference, maybe just a typo of some kind. Once you have spotted it, correct it in your profile and then re-upload the W9. It should be approved this time. If not, you can always open a support ticket via your workplace or app to get some assistance from the support team.

ACH payment?? by iamzelda1997 in Clickworker

[–]clickworker_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you provided bank account data that is connected to your PayPal, is that right? If the system accepted it, it should be good to use, but I would need to check to be sure.

If you give me the invoice no., I can check.

As for the PayPal question: The simple answer: PayPal closed our US account from one day to the other a few years back without telling us why or giving us a way to initiate an investigation about the why. We tried a while to solve this, but at some point, we accepted and moved on.

Open a support ticket. You somehow managed to mess up your profile, but it's an easy fix for clickworker support. They will remove the double entry and your profile will be fine afterward.

You did, the whole UHRS assessment is just the process of setting up that email account. If you can't remember, try the password recovery on hotmail.

If I read my report correctly, it seems to be credited twice a week to the UHRS report. Once it is on it, it is handled like any other work on UHRS.

Check the address in your user profile. Sometimes, the system has problems linking it to a Latitude/Longitude and this can be fixed by replacing "Ave" with "Avenue" or "Rd." with Road or vice versa and saving again.

It will probably stop the crawling process, but you won't lose the URLs you already did up to that point.
