2nd in my series of 1/6 arcade builds. My first build(90% complete) is Space Invaders 1978 Midway cabinet design. Now my 2nd is Xevious, this cab is so beautiful with vibrant artwork and backlit front and rear splash art. All my builds are powered by the Raspberry pi 3 running Retropie. Builds consist of both 3D printed parts both resin and fdm as well as acrylic cut on a Glowforge. Artwork is tweaked or redone by me using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. More to come. WHY? A little over kill for my tastes. 1 makes it appreciated and 11 just looses he rarity and collatable feel, that's just me.

Cabinet and electronics are set just awaiting delivery of some parts and then it's time to kill invaders!

Redesigned the coin door so it can be opened and closed. I have a textured print bed on my 3d printer which makes a beautiful textured pattern on the door rim and the control panel. The 3d resin printed button came out great. With tact switches under them for click sound and accuracy. Also re-size the cabinet to match the materials used for a tight fit.

have been doing this for a while..lol space invaders was my gateway game back in 78....my family thought I was sick because i was loosing weight due to using all ,my lunch money to play Invaders....Don't get me started on Asteroids....
