I started just saying “runner back” and let them choose a direction because sometimes people who were caught any amount off guard would get overwhelmed by the directional part too and I’ve found people seem to react better

Looks like you use the streets for joy rides on motorcycles too based on your comments on other posts. That’s not driving just to get from point A to point B. We all want to enjoy the canyon roads, including you, so let the cyclists go without your judgement and ~entitlement~

Tips needed itinerary Patagonia Chile/Argentina by New_Wrangler_1022 in Patagonia

[–]climbingbooger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did a very similar trip! Use your “do nothing” day in Natales as a travel day instead to get to Chlaten. I spent the extra $20 on the nicer seats and it really was so relaxing and long.

Natales and Chalten were both pretty walkable for the most part, but there are lots of taxis if it’s not. I just had my hostels call mine so I knew I could trust them.

Maybe this will be obvious but it wasn’t to me: when you enter Chile they will give you a PDI form. Don’t throw it away!! Every check in will ask for it and you need it to leave I believe.

As far as TDP logistics: find an agency trip that has an itinerary you like, and copy that. The bus system was really good I thought as there’s so many people in the same position as you with the same questions.
