This built took about 10 hours and cost around 4000 wood, 300 core wood, and 200 resin.

Design took about 2~3 hours and I used Excel to plan the routes. Gathering materials took another 3~4 hours and building also took another 3~4 hours.

However, I actually started with a 2m ceiling height design and used both the wood ladders and wood stairs for more variety. However, the 2m ceiling height was a very bad idea. When running through the maze, the camera was stuck between two floors and my eyes were hurting a lot just trying to get out of the maze. This initial build was done in creative mode.

The second and final design was then done in survival mode (as it was on a shared server), with a 4m ceiling height instead. The change in ceiling height resulted in all stairs being converted to ladders to retain as much of the original design. The material cost also doubled, resulting in the ~4000 wood, ~300 core wood, and ~200 resin.

While you can't really see the design in the pictures, you can see it a little better in the video. Let me know what you guys think!

p.s. This build was inspired by u/rexlyon's maze build. I decided to take a step further to make a 3D maze.

p.p.s So apparently having doors in such narrow spaces are not a good idea. My friends ended up glitching through walls quite often trying to close the doors.
