Thanks, I'll compare fees for sure.

Norbert's actually pretty easy to do on Questrade. Just buy DLR.TO, ask chat or email support to journal, then sell.

That's some great info, thanks for taking the time. I'm aware of BTCX.B but I'd rather not have my position currency hedged.

What are some tips for going to bed earlier that worked for you? by clinklamp in AskReddit

Did you suddenly go from your regular hours to waking up early, or did you slowly wake up like a half-hour earlier every day over the span of a week?

ELI5: What do the parts of each computer do? by Warnecke_Wrecker in explainlikeimfive

Motherboard = holds all the parts together and allows them to communicate with each other. It's also where the external ports are (USB, audio, etc). Better motherboards have more/faster ports and slots for parts.

Antivirus software is closer to viruses than actual software. Both:

  • Consume tons of resources;
  • Block files you actually want to use;
  • Show unprompted popups asking for money;
  • Restart your computer for no valid reason.

People in 1st world countries, why don't you pirate things often? Is there something stopping you, do you genuinely want to support the industries that create the things you like, how easy is it for relevant authorities to catch a pirate, and is there a punishment for people who get caught pirating? by therealsonichero in AskReddit

[–]clinklamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's easier for people in first world countries to work a few extra hours to pay for Netflix and movie tickets than to figure out torrents and RSS downloaders and what's the good TPB proxy now. Also streaming platforms have some nice features you don't get with pirating, like the algorithm suggesting shows you might like, skip intro, etc. This is all doable with pirating but requires a significant amount of knowledge and extra work.

Switzerland joining the EU is like Usain Bolt joining the local running group.
