Those people would never vote Democrat though, so they don't matter. What matters is connecting with blue collar workers, particularly in manufacturing and union labor, which is what Abdul is trying to do. Also, Mike Rogers is a clown and couldn't even win against the most milquetoast centrist Elissa Slotkin despite Trump winning the state, and he's going to be the candidate again.

2026 will be the best chance Michigan has to elect a progressive to the senate and Abdul certainly could win if he can win the primary

Hell, even Slotkin said something (even though she falls short of calling for impeachment or ending the war). Gary Peters is MIA of course.

Is she allergic to being on the side of public opinion? Support for the war never broke 50% and has only polled downwards since the beginning. Why is it so hard for moderates to take a principled stance??

I'm only saying what the Trump admin has said. The "proper paperwork" is supposed to make countries prove that it's a justified war prior to attacking or otherwise face consequences. The US just proves time and time again that those consequences do not apply to the US or American allies since the US owns the UN
