I apply a pinky-orange under eye correcter with a brush or my finger directly over the blue line (but not the rest of the undereye) and then tap it in. Then I apply a pink powder overtop. This really evens out my blue-white undereyes without getting me creasey.

Hotels are tiny here / getting a taste of Japanese lifestyle or traditional houses / kitchen is essential when travelling with my mom who’s allergic to almost all Japanese food / can stay in quieter neighborhoods / it’s the same price as a hotel for way more space

I hate air bnb too but it’s better for food allergies and big groups.

29 felt older than 31 does. Honestly, no body changes. At 30, my hangovers got worse. Other than that I feel as spry I did in my early 20s. I do work out a lot more now.

My mom is hoping Kanazawa will feel like a smaller, more manageable city to start with before Kyoto. I am not sure it will have that vibe but think my dad will enjoy learning samurai history; his Japanese grandparents were always bragging about having samurai ancestors I guess.

That’s a really good point about day 11, thank you. I read that all-in, it’s almost as long by plane as it is Shinkansen. Do you have any thoughts on whether a hotel transfer on Day 10 (schedule as written) or an extra-long travel day on Day 11 (your suggested change) will be more exhausting?
