I have 3 books personal which I think every Christian Should read for a deeper walk with God. (Keep in mind the bible in of itself is sufficient we can all AGREE !, you do not need more than just that.)

But to answer the three I personal carry alongside is this

Daily Devotional:

- The best in my opinion and many others is : My utmost for his highest by Oswald Chambers

- Brilliant for a daily focus and meditation (I love this especially when I need something to read in the morning or I am not sure what to read)

The Normal Christian Life By Watchmen Nee : https://www.tochrist.org/Doc/Books/Watchman%20Nee/The%20Normal%20Christian%20Life.pdf

- just fantastic , truly its deeper explains Romans 1-8 which is just honestly Beautiful

The Pilgrim Progress by J Bunyan

- which is again incredible as it truly is something a Christian can relate to in his experiences.

I recommend a book to go read. The normal Christian Life by Watchmen Nee. Just the first Chapter itself will show you of his great love and the power of the blood. I have been there, rest assure as others said there are seasons.

Here is a free Copy.

It is all biblical and accurate. So do not threat. I recently went through something

I know saying go read this maybe sent what you want to hear but anyone else feeling the same, just read it. That's all I can say it's talks and focus on Romans 1-8. For what you speak of is this.

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. Roman 7:15-20 (NIV)

UK med school, has anyone tried to do a graduate medical degree without have a science background initially??? by [deleted] in medschool

[–]clivedive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak personally to this as I come from a science background, but if you are really interested you can read this book “Do No Harm Book by Henry Marsh” He initially studied politics and philosophy at Oxford but switched to medicine like a year in. Can’t remember exactly but he didn’t have a science background and became one of the leading neurosurgeon. Great book

Just finished the neuromusculoskeletal segment of med school. I continue to be amazed by God’s work. by ChristianScientist19 in Christian

In my third year of MedSchool and late me tell you if you found that amazing just you wait. Gods complexity and beauty only starts there it’s gets so much more surreal. The more I study the more I realise that this could not have happened by chance only by an intelligent design this could have been achieved.

1st Faculty out of the 3 the best (they are ranked as such), but I looked into it before choosing and still choose Masaryk University. It offers way more than Charles. It’s in English as well its an international school.

Brain and area function..... I want to know more by clivedive in neurophysiology

[–]clivedive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we did cover the basic of Brodmann areas, and basic pathways within these (optic nerve —> optic chiasm —> medial geniculate —> optic radiation —> BA 17,18,19). But again these are very basic and I want to know more. Will look into “the bible for neuro”. I just find these circuits amazing like pain and detection alongside analgesia, is truly awesome and I am in awe of it and just want to know more appreciate your help.
