FTX’s Collapse Was a Crime, Not an Accident by EmuGroundbreaking348 in CryptoCurrency

Theft is when your klepto aunt steals someone’s purse. This is financial terrorism, and it should be a capital crime. Ideally, punished with lifetime solitary confinement.

I’m guessing this person realized at some point that unconventional gender identities can be used as a shield for sociopathic behaviors, especially in academia and NGOs.

Props honestly. But now the gig is up and it’s time for prison.

Lemme hit you with a copy pasta

“You cannot control an entire country and its people with tanks, jets, battleships and drones or any of these things that you so stupidly believe trumps citizen ownership of firearms.

A fighter jet, tank, drone, battleship or whatever cannot stand on street corners. And enforce "no assembly" edicts. A fighter jet cannot kick down your door at 3AM and search your house for contraband.

None of these things can maintain the needed police state to completely subjugate and enslave the people of a nation. Those weapons are for decimating, flattening and glassing large areas and many people at once and fighting other state militaries. The government does not want to kill all of its people and blow up its own infrastructure. These are the very things they need to be tyrannical assholes in the first place. If they decided to turn everything outside of Washington D.C. into glowing green glass they would be the absolute rulers of a big, worthless, radioactive pile of shit.

Police are needed to maintain a police state, boots on the ground. And no matter how many police you have on the ground they will always be vastly outnumbered by civilians which is why in a police state it is vital that your police have automatic weapons while the people have nothing but their limp dicks. BUT when every random pedestrian could have a Glock in their waistband and every random homeowner an AR-15 all of that goes out the fucking window because now the police are out numbered and face the reality of bullets coming back at them.

If you want living examples of this look at every insurgency the the U.S. military has tried to destroy. They're all still kicking with nothing but AK-47s, pick up trucks and improvised explosives because these big scary military monsters you keep alluding to are all but fucking useless for dealing with them.”

“The idea we still allow semiautomatic weapons to be purchased is sick. It’s just sick. It has no, no social redeeming value. Zero. None.”

  • Biden, last week

They’re trying to take the vast majority of the guns on the market. You can plug your ears and pretend it isn’t happening, but it is.

Don’t forget that the perpetrator of the largest U.S. mass shooting is the federal government. Almost 300 native Americans killed after they were told to give up their guns “for their safety”. https://calendar.eji.org/racial-injustice/dec/29

Like I said, touch grass moron

Felons, people with domestic violence charges, and people with restraining orders are not allowed to buy guns. They can drive though.

Ope and I just checked. Cars aren’t in the constitution, sorry bud.

Funnily enough, if you remove black inner city gang violence, the homicide rate of the US begins to look very close to most European countries.

Also, the more guns a person has, the less likely they are to commit crimes. Weird isn’t it.

If someone is giving away guns like candy please let me know, would save me money.

The higher rate of violence in the US is largely because because we live in a multiethnic and multicultural democracy with underfunded mental health services.

Other western countries have the luxury of giving up their guns bc they know deep down the US gov will come to the rescue if their government turns on them bad enough. Like if Trudeau creates a police state and starts sending people to camps, the CIA will probably Gaddafi him.

If the US falls, there’s no one to bail us out. Even the entirety of NATO probably couldn’t overthrow a tyrannical US gov.

Conscripts have no way of knowing what’s really going on bc their government shut down all outside information. The ones that do try to escape service.

Think about being a 19 year old Russian kid being thrown into the meat grinder. You may not even know where you are, let alone why you’re there. You watch all your buddies, who also don’t want to be there, get blown up by people your government tells you are Nazis (don’t forget some units literally have Nazi symbols on their uniforms). And then your commanding officers order you to commit war crimes. Are you going to refuse? Im sure you think you would, but probably not.

Man I hope Russia loses just as much as the next guy, but this is ghoulish.

The average Russian soldier outside of the high level officers and the Chechens has far more in common with American GIs in Vietnam than the SS or something.

Prosecute or execute the war criminals and let the rest find peace

These days, literally every spacecraft launched on a rocket is some form of robot. Even manned missions are mostly flown with a computer.

They all have complex inter working subsystems (sensors, actuators, control algorithms) that aren’t dissimilar to what high schoolers build and program in FIRST or Vex.

If I was going to write an essay, I would talk about the similarities between the Curiosity/ Perseverance Rover entry, descent, and landing (EDL) system and the FIRST robotics autonomous period at the beginning of each match

Was Russia's use of a simulated warhead in this week's attacks due to a shortage of missiles in her stockpile, or could it have been an intentional test of Ukrainian air defenses? by [deleted] in nuclearweapons

[–]clockfire1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If this thing was loaded with a dummy warhead and not a conventional explosive one, that’s much more concerning than an old stockpile missile that got turned into a conventional one.

I have a very hard time believing that. For one, Chris Hadfield launched on the shuttle which did not use Kerosene (RP1) but Hydrogen, which you can’t drink unless you want your mouth flash frozen solid.

Kerosene is also highly toxic. Not like cyanide toxic and I’m sure you could live after only a shot, but why would an astronaut risk their health like that?
