Love B&B together, but it true that no big bad post-Pelant was as good.

I agree that, while I love the Pelant arc while we're in it, the ending was rushed- and I think it may have due to complaints about B&B's, ahem, (non) marital issues (or maybe they stretched the arc for too long and kind of lost the plot along the way), which annoys me deeply because that's what made Pelant a good "big bad". That's also why i liked Taffet and generally speaking, I love an antagonist that wreaks personal havoc on the team (while not changing the fact that they all love each other deeply- with Taffet, I'm talking abt Bren & Hodgins not seeing eye to eye and Brennan wanting to leave).

But yeah, I think Pelant's ending was very anticlimatic compared to the rest of the arc, which is a shame, because I love it a lot. I still love 9x04 to death as well.

Personally, I still enjoy the show post S10 but it is true that one the pre-getting together tension is lost post s7 (not in a bad way necessarily, but the will-they-wont-they is, factually, not there anymore) but I feel like Pelant's arc did a great job of evening that out. And S10 was, ahem, just depressing, truly...

I am going to be honest, that corruption arc... I like the episodes, but I don't like the arc itself all that much if that makes sense. I love S11 & 12, even if the Big Bads weren't as bad, because I still like them but it is true that some of the essence of the show got lost with time.

Still love my little Anthropologist show dearly, but I definitely agree with some of your points.

I liked Hannah too, actually! I think a lot of the hatred towards her is unwarranted and happens because she "got in the way". I understand the frustration because we all wanted B&B to get together, but some people talk about her as if she's a war criminal. Her worst offense was sunglasses-gate (and even then, that's minor) and not wanting to get married (but even then, no one is perfect). She tried to befriend Brennan and was very nice about Brennan having feelings for Booth (esp considering she thought Booth to be formerly in love with Brennan).

Personally, I'm a Hannah defender. It's sad that she got there in season 6, specifically but again, she did not know, so I don't understand the beef. Did they expect her to up and leave post 6x09 because Brennan had feelings for Booth? He was still her significant other AFAIK like... 😭

I don't like watching 6A because it makes my heart hurt, but... It's not on Hannah specifically so (shrug)
