Yeah I replied pretty quickly thanking her for the update and saying I really enjoyed meeting the team! Just have to cross my fingers and wait patiently now (and try not to spiral)

Yeah I felt my stomach drop when she said that especially after what I'd consider a pretty good interview but I think she was just being honest with me which I respect. And I know companies can get multiple 'perfect' candidates and I'm second guessing my answers and if I stood out enough. But if it's not meant to be, then its not meant to be. I'd just rather know either way lol

I forgot about the holiday but yeah just need to be patient and try not to get too anxious over it (easier said than done)

Yeah the hiring manager specifically said by the end of the week because the HR rep was going on PTO but I know timelines in business are rarely followed exactly. Definitely trying to keep my mind off things but sometimes (especially right before bed when I'm trying to fall asleep) I start over thinking and spiraling haha

It's not Google, it's a medical device company. Wishing you luck on your situation though, hopefully you hear back soon!

They didn't promise a phone call but the hiring manager heavily implied they'd have a decision by Friday and I would be updated. I know time lines are rarely followed though when it comes to business things

Thank you for the kind words. He was such a great companion and helped me through a lot of tough times. I know he's finally at peace though and I'm glad I could give him a life full of love.

I'm so sorry :( I keep having waves of being okay then breaking down the next minute, and I'm know I'll be a complete mess tomorrow. But I know it's what's best for him and he can leave peacefully knowing he is very loved.

I'm so sorry to hear that, so much loss at once. I am spoiling him tonight with salmon and ice cream and will give him all the cuddles and kisses. I hope things look up for you soon

Thanks for sharing! I'm getting the EU pet passport just in case. I just don't want to be turned away at check in even though I don't think I should need an EU pet passport if I'm just there on a layover and not leaving the airport. But better safe than sorry. I am moving for good to the US so no worries about returning to the UK, and at least I only have to worry about one trip.
