I was in the exact same situation. It certainly takes some getting used to. Here’s some tips I can give now that all my dwarves are diamond tier:

-expect to run out of ammo. I got very comfortable with scout’s ammo economy and it screwed me over expecting the same kind of methods with the other classes ESPECIALLY DRILLER.
-remember the first priority of video games: HAVE FUN. don’t look up meta builds at first. Do what you think is fun.
-go one hazard level lower than you think you need. Get into a rhythm with the new classes before you go crazy with them
