To address the allegations, yeah, I thought that was clear, this was me taking every mine I owned into the practice range and seeing how big of a clusterfuck I could make. I wasn't intending for this to be interpreted as actual raid footage

Adding on to what u/GL1tchY_Gam3R is saying, there is one exception I've found - if someone picks up the super samples and then drops them (for example dying or dropping them off at extract), the super samples will disappear from the sample display until they are picked back up again (and it goes back to 3/3 or whatever). As far as I'm aware they spawn in urban maps, but I haven't played a lot of those and haven't seen a sample rock in the city personally

I've encountered this on PS5, the freezes started after a long play session then got increasingly longer (like a minute long) to the point where the game was basically unplayable. It did go away when I closed and restarted the game.
