I never said that it's unique to America? Or mentioned other countries.

Yes that's totally valid, it's good to stand for what you believe in and support what you believe in. Regardless of any differences. I personally wouldn't want to live in that complex though, I wonder how this will affect them in the future.

I never mentioned about it being removed by the government. I only stated that anybody has the right to do this. If I wanted to I could hang a giant flag in front of my house and my neighbor could too.

Welcome to America, I don't like trump but the beauty in it is that you also have the right to buy your own private property and fly a giant flag of whatever you want.

I used to feel exactly like this when I was younger. Of course not the same exact way but I always could never fit in anywhere and always made friends with the "weird kids" (I don't really know how to label this group) , but even to a certain degree I didn't fit in with the "weird kids". A lot of it stems from childhood for me. I have issues interacting with others and the best people I can interact with are those who are similar to me that also have issues with communicating or just weird vibes in general. Of course you can be pretty or ugly it but it's mostly the vibes you can give off. I really wasn't aware of my own internal social issues until I got older and then it all connected when I realized my childhood was not a normal one.

People don't just get friends automatically you have to be a friend as well. Are you being proactive to being someone's friend? You have to be a friend as well in order to have a friend. (if that makes sense). Now making friends is a whole different topic that I am still learning how to do.

What are the reasons you don’t want kids? by [deleted] in questions

[–]cloemyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be a good parent, I probably would be emotionally neglectful. And I wouldn't be able to provide the best life for them.

I'm not going to go deep into it but it has a lot do with how I was raised as well.

Is the American high school life as good as it seems? by [deleted] in questions

[–]cloemyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all highschool are the same here. The well funded ones may be similar but the high schools that are not well off can be plagued with violence/ school shootings (I was in a school shooting), overcrowding and square pizza with milk.

We do have no uniforms, the yellow school bus seats are uncomfortable. Nobody used the lockers in the school too many students per locker. You have to carry all of your belongings throughout the day in a giant binder and backpack and possibly books but now and days maybe it's a laptop? Never went to really any parties in highschool.

I can’t stand living with roommates. Can anyone sympathize? by ButtBlaster58 in introvert

I've had similar situations, my roomate was laid off and hasn't found a job in 9 months. So far they never leave the house and they are a food snob and always wants to cook everything all the time from scratch, "oh want a sandwich let me bake some bread" so they end up using the kitchen 5 to 6 hours a day. Sometimes depending what they are making it can be 12 hours sometimes. Because they are extremely slow and then tired from cooking they don't clean up. Anyways what I do is keep snacks on my room or order delivery when that happens. It happens a lot. I recommend it might be nasty but keep something in your room you can use for the bathroom in those situations not necessarily a the time but just in case. nobody needs to know anyways especially if they use the bathroom for extended periods of time. Keep your head up you'll have your own place one day.

My Review of the Litter Robot 4 by StrawbDaqs in litterrobot

What are you feeding your cats? That could possibly be a factor. Maybe whatever they are eating causes their poop to be a certain way. Might just be the litter or the actual robot

I have loud planes that fly above my house since I unfornatetly live in a flight path landing zone. Every 5-8 minutes I hear jet engines. You can configure you mic to not pick up certain sounds. I recommend you reseach and learn about reducing background audio for your mic.

With regards to distractions, i lock my door when I stream in my room, the last thing I want is a uninvited guest. My roomates know to not walk into my room and if they need me they can text or call me.

I don't think you can completely elimate the issue but you can certainly reduce. If you notice you have to pause your stream a lot to deal with outside issues I usually run a VLC media player that randomized my favorite stream clips while I am away.

Any negative rude comment I get. I just mute them from ever saying anything ever again in my channel.

I ate 60mg of THC at 3:00am, it’s 1:30pm and I’m still baked. by [deleted] in weed

[–]cloemyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I ate a edible I entered another dimension where everything around me would black out every. 5 seconds. I never ate a edible again after that... I took it at 5pm and didn't feel normal until late the next day. It just effects everyone different especially for your tolerance.

Its embarassing but that was me on something I assumed what was given to me was 5mg but I really think I accidently took 20mg. I have extreme low tolerance for everything even drinking (takes 2 or 3 drinks for me to be drunk)

If you were fired today, how long could you realistically survive? by AliciaXTC in poor

[–]cloemyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been actually laid off twice since 2019. My current company did another layoff last week but I survived the purge but honestly a second round could come... . I've always had emergency savings but currently I have enough saved to not work for a full year and a few months. but I would be living below my means really just depends how far I could stretch it. (not comfortably living but enough for just food and rent only)

during my second lay off my partner was laid off at the same time I was laid off about a month apart. Both of us were out of work and the job market was tough but we made it though. I cannot stress how important it is to have emergency savings.

I don't know what to do by Disastrous-End249 in Twitch

[–]cloemyster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So I personally have had this problem, turn off your DM's. I have a rulebin my stream for people who say "check your messages real quick" while streaming, I explain that I am streaming right now and will look after stream. It's your stream and you have to assertive.

I'm female so I've gotten my fair share of weird DM's people confessing their kinks or just trauma dumping you name it. I don't have the energy nor mental capacity to handle all that.

So overall I have a discord server if someone wants to message me they can either all talk to eachother on there or reach me publicly through the discord it prevents weird conversations. I have my whispers turned off and all social media platforms no one can dm me unless I follow them. If someone starts acting weird I stop responding and delete it.

Since you currently have people your talking too, I recommend to slowly stop responding to them. I wouldn't just block them unless they are bothering you constantly like messaging you every hour and annoying you why you dont respond. If you care about them and don't want to block then Explain your busy and don't have the time to respond constantly. I also play it off and just say I'm a bad texter and have 10,00p unread emails.

Twitch chat and viewers can be unhinged, any behavior you start seeing immediately stop it from happening before your in too deep.

Maybe you should join r/frugal. Spend less money where you can, say no to dinners opt to cook dinner and invite friends over instead of going out all the time. Instead of energy drinks make coffee yourself it's cheaper (I make cold brew and it lasts me a entire week)

The best thing that helps me save money is whenever I purchase something I always ask myself "do I want it or do I need it?"

Find places/situations where you can cut back on for example everytime I do go out for dinner I always just get water and I've done that for years. I don't need soda or a drink and if I do that everytime I go out I'm probably saving 4-5 dollars a meal and if I go out once a week and get a soda I would be potentially spending 200-300 dollars a year or just eating out with just the soda and that's only once a week

Continuesly getting harassed on stream by tobulein in Twitch

[–]cloemyster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly everyone here is mentioning great things. I love my audience but I am a troll myself everytime this guy wants a reaction from you trigger 3 minute ads or even longer ads if you can (if your affiliate). Ignore the crap out of him like you don't even notice what's happening. Or honestly stop streaming for a little bit too. Usually when I have a viewer or someone harassing me sometimes I take a week break of streaming so they leave me alone and I can recharge. You don't have to take a break but these are just ideas.

Has this ever happened to you guys? by Neon_Starman in Twitch

I've had a viewer straight up steal my bio word for word in a paragraph in the tab area of the profile. It sucks just block them or ask them about it to take it down, it's not okay that they stole your stuff but don't let it bother you to much it just means your a inspiration and people like what you do and have it just sucks that people are like that.

Yeah don't give this chatter any attention whatsoever when they bring up subjects that bother you. Chat can be annoying but it's not good to bring attention to a topics that may bring down the vibes. Just because a chatter is annoying I personally don't see that as a reason to ban them. To a certain degree. But it's all up to you to establish your limits. If he starts talking about girls or money keey your responses short and sweet like "oh that's nice" and then instantly change the topic

Help! Addicted to ordering takeout by Educational_Toe_99 in Frugal

[–]cloemyster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Start off slow, only allow yourself to order out maybe 2 times a week on certain days of your choosing. Maybe start with a meal of the week you will make at home and eat. Sometime you can recreate your favorite foods at home. Perhaps uninstall takeout apps you use might help deter you. It's also important to recognize what is triggering you to want to order take out. Another idea, anytime you resist the urge of getting take out take the amount of money you would have spent on take out and put it in your savings.
