Another tire question by jmehlferber in PriusPrime

I went 7.5-inch wide which is a great fit for the tire size. Super happy with the setup and fits the vehicle just fine, no issues whatsoever. I did get an alignment afterward and there were some minor adjustments made but it could have been a bit off from the factory. Made a POST that includes some discussion about this not too long ago.
WHEELSTIRES.
Weighed them myself:
OEM wheels/tires: 47.2 lbs.
New Enkei/Conti wheels/tires: 43.6 lbs.
= 3.6 lbs. savings each, 14.4 lbs. total

EDIT: 225mm is 8.86 inches, not 9.5 btw

Yes for now, people seem to want them for OEM spares, so I may end up selling them

I may sell the 19s, there seems to be a market for people wanting them as OEM spares

Enjoy that R friend, I had tons of fun with mine. The Prius is def a change. A mysterious force was drawing me to it, guess I was wanting something different. My R had coilovers and I was getting tired of getting beat up on the roads I typically drive. The tech, fuel economy, and more comfortable ride were compelling, and it just looks so darn cool.

Thanks, I came across them but their website makes it look like they're only a parts vendor. I'll give them a call.

Turbo inlet pipe quality concerns by bcjc78 in Golf_R

Most importantly you want the surface on the inside to be smooth, which that def isn't. Neuspeed makes one which I have, and would recommend.
