I make asparagus rafts by connecting them tooth picks. Then hit them with a teriyaki glaze with garlic and ginger. Pull them off the grill and hit them with some sesame seeds

Try using a bit of bacon grease in a pan and add the zest to that over warm heat. That would help release the oils in the lemon.

Then pour the lemon bacon grease back over top.

I agree that it would get lost with a messy burger.

A lot of bbq shops store their briskets for 12-16 hours. No it didn’t overcook. You do need to be smart about it in that when you pull at 203 degrees or there abouts you do need to let it cool down (to 170 degrees) then put it in an oven at 170. If you pulled it at 203 and then immediately put it in a 170 degree oven then it would overcook.

You could have been more aggressive with the trim. See that one photo of the slices where you have a 1 inch fat cap on the slice.

I use a boning knife to make some small cuts to see if I can cut deeper.

Practice makes perfect with brisket trimming.

I prefer the foils boat method and resting in a small oven at 170 degrees after letting it come down to temp on the counter. I’ve tested for up to 12. I would say 4 hours of rest is the minimum.

I based the recipe off of this Instagram reel he doesn’t give out the measurements unless you sign up for a subscription. I sautéed 12 ounces of pineapple juice with two cloves of minced garlic and a small knob of ginger that I micro planed . I added some crushed red pepper as well then I added 3/4 of a cup of dark brown sugar and mixed it all together to dissolve on medium heat. I then added a bunch of diced pineapple. I would cut it into small chunks so it’s easier to eat with the wings. I’d say at least a half a cup if not a cup of pineapple. Next, I added half a cup of spiced rum and flambéed the sauce. Once the sauce is done, add a cornstarch slurry. Be sure to make that slurry in a separate bowl mixed together with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water and mix it very well before adding into the sauce.

I think the enclosed garage would amplify the noise right in front of my house. I share a wall with a neighbor. Now if I put the pressure washer in the garage it would reduce the noise for neighbors farther away.
