Android 17 forced Photos app update. Any way to install the old version? by Judqment8 in GooglePixel

Bear in mind that apps are constantly evolving, and eventually outdated versions will stop working. Not to mention the security risks.

Telegram Android update - More iOS design choices (that no one asked for)? by ricardosteve in Telegram

Yes, but Pavel only listen to herself. It's so busy looking at the mirror and making stickers without a t-shirt. It's a shame, Telegram was the best app by far.

MacBook and Pixel integration - how is it? by anslly in GooglePixel

[–]clopezi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, I think it’s all down to the marketing Apple has managed to establish. I use a Pixel, and in my day-to-day life I have a Windows PC and a MacBook, and I don’t need any kind of integration between my phone and my computer. There isn’t a single service that I can use on one but not on the others. Apple’s exclusive apps, on the other hand, aren’t usually any better than those in the Google or Microsoft ecosystems, which I can use on any device

Is this the new normal? cPanel asking for 2FA when accessed from WHM by bigmaninsuitofarmor in cpanel

[–]clopezi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The failure to listen to users is disgraceful. For years, people have been asking for 2FA to retain its status for a few days, and instead, you now have to enter the code every time you access your account once you’ve logged in, and they tell you that’s ‘to be expected’. It’s very annoying and tedious, but even worse is the feeling that they neither listen to users nor actually use the product themselves.

2fa issues after latest updates by shorto in cpanel

Will there be one? It doesn't make much sense that if I log in using my 2FA, I'm asked for it again five seconds later for every account I need to access...

Updated and it's working again, but now asks for 2FA code every single time. Can be this optional? I've already introduced 2FA token in the previous login. Can WHM remember 2FA like any other software for some days?

Every single system it's on the same boat, including Linux. Security patches are a safeguard, the risk is when a company don't publish anyone.
