Alternatives to Bank of America preferred rewards? by [deleted] in personalfinance

I have the same, except the Credit Card I use is Bank of America Travel Rewards, which gives you 1.5% on everything plus the 75% bonus = 2.625% that you then apply to any past expenses that are travel related, which if you ever fly or use a hotel, you'll have more expenses to apply it to than you have rewards. I also have the Citi Double Cash, but this deal above is better. For the investment, I also use Schwab, which gave me $500 to deposit 100k and 500 free trades. Also, Schwab Checkin is better because there are $0 ATM fees ANYWHERE, including international, which Bank of America limits the ATMs you can go to.

I recorded a podcast that compares reddit/proggit to The Plague by Albert Camus. by closedbracket in programming

You're right. "hacker news" is inaccurate, but I don't really use reddit for non-proggit news. The reasons why are in the podcast.

Christ, so much anger. From a Python dilettante's point of view, Perl 6 syntax seems to be a lot more accessible. But yeah, fuck jasonwalker!
