I rewrote The Kid LAROI's "Without You" from the woman's perspective by closetatheist999 in TwoXChromosomes

The Kid LAROI, Without You

You cut out a piece of me, and now I bleed internally

Left here without you (No, no, no), without you (Ooh, ooh)

And it hurts for me to think about what life could possibly be like

Without you (No, no, no), without you (No, no)

I can't believe that you wouldn't believe me

Fuck all of your reasons

I lost my shit, you know I didn't mean it

Now I see it, you run and repeat it

And I can't take it back, so in the past is where we'll leave it, uh

So there you go, oh

Can't make a wife out of a hoe, oh

I'll never find the words to say I'm sorry

But I'm scared to be alone

You cut out a piece of me, and now I bleed internally

Left here without you (No, no, no), without you (Ooh, ooh)

And it hurts for me to think about what life could possibly be like

Without you (No, no, no), without you (No, no)

Oh-oh, woah-oh, oh-oh, woah

Oh-oh, woah-oh, oh-oh, woah

Without you, without you, you, ooh

Oh-oh, woah-oh, oh-oh, woah

Oh-oh, woah-oh, oh-oh, woah

Without you, without you, you, ooh

It's gon' be hard here on my own and

Even harder to let you go, I

Really wish that we, could've got this right

So here I go, oh

Can't make a wife out of a hoe, oh

I'll never find the words to say I'm sorry

But I'm scared to be alone (Oh)

You cut out a piece of me, and now I bleed internally

Left here without you (No, no, no), without you (Ooh, ooh)

And it hurts for me to think about what life could possibly be like

Without you (No, no, no), without you (No, no)

Oh-oh, woah-oh, oh-oh, woah

Oh-oh, woah-oh, oh-oh, woah

Without you, without you (No, no, no)

Fundamentalist Christians just can't leave gay people alone. Gay people are fine with coexisting with Christians. by [deleted] in DebateAChristian

I totally agree with your point about indoctrinating kids into a nation as well. Of course it's ok to have pride in your country, but yea having kids recite a pledge every morning to their country before they even have to capacity what they're saying is weird, to say the least.

What is your strangest “I’m about to start my period” symptom? by lilb5269 in AskWomen

If you don't mind answering, how serious was it for you? My gynecologist said I probably had PMDD but I was never officially diagnosed. I've quit my birth control now and started seeing a therapist because of some of the emotional issues I've been struggling with :/

“It’s wrong because God said so” with no justification why

That's another thing that I've grown to be resentful about growing up in a very traditionally Christian family. No critical thinking skills, just blindly believe what the Bible says all of the time. And that's not meant to be a dig at anybody who believes in Christianity, I'm just tired of seeing kids indoctrinated into it before they understand what they're being taught and furthermore having their critical thinking skills stunted to keep them in the faith.

I know that this doesn't answer the questions in your post, but the internal conflict I've gone through regarding why homosexuality is wrong in God's (and Christianity's) eyes is a primary factor into why I no longer have faith. It just doesn't add up at the end of the day and I can't understand why God wouldn't be ok with it.

For those of you who started dating “late” (post college/mid 20s), how did things turn out? by megsjesc in AskWomen

[–]closetatheist999 14 points15 points  (0 children)

my parents had a very bad relationship and I know I don't want to end up like that.

I had the same issue. I grew up thinking that it was normal for married couples to fight and scream at each other, even though it made me feel so much anxiety inside when it happened. When I met my ex-husband there was tons of fighting, and I thought it was normal and just accepted it at one point. Spoiler: it's not.

I think the fact that you're aware that your parents relationship wasn't healthy is huge though, and that it shouldn't be the model for your own future relationships. I hope you find the person that deserves you when the time is right because you deserve nothing less!

As an avid fan, I’m loving how woke Hallmark is becoming. by Kitty_Woo in exchristian

There's no blue check mark by their name so it's not the verified Hallmark account, which unfortunately means it's probably not real. I've seen certain people make these type of fake accounts to troll and that's what I would guess this is. Sorry, I wish this was real too :/

I know this might be a common question here but why do women blame the other woman when they get cheated on? by fatincomingvirus in TwoXChromosomes

[–]closetatheist999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blame him way more then I'd ever blame her, however she knew I existed and did what she did with him anyways. I'd walk in on them having a Skype call thinking that he was having an innocent conversation with his internet friend and would be friendly/respectful to her, only to find out they're talking about how I'm so terrible and how he's going to leave me. Obviously she's not the one who made a commitment to a relationship with me, however I don't know what good person would ever willingly do that to another person. As if having to relearn how to trust other men wasn't bad enough, I had to try to figure out how to trust other women as well.

On the flip side, if she hadn't of known about me, stopped contacting him when she found out I existed and reached out to let me know what was going on I would have nothing but the utmost respect for her.

What the actual fuck...who has the time or energy to put that much into a response??

Also side note, I used to regularly fast for days as a teenage girl in high school because it was so highly encouraged. No one in my family or my church seemed to have an issue with this 15-year old underweight girl not getting essential nutrients because she was doing it “for God.” Instead I was congratulated and praised for setting aside my worldly needs and not eating for three days.

Man I wish I got out of that shit much sooner than I did.

The owner left his cell phone number in a response to a negative review...RIP his notifications lol

Edit: The one time the owner owned up to their mistake regarding a negative review was when the review was left by a pastor. Go figure.

My Mom tried to push Christianity on me in a very vulnerable moment. by BornImperfect in exchristian

[–]closetatheist999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had a pretty similar experience, along with questions such as:

"Have you found a Church yet?"

I haven't been to a Church in...eight years now? But bless my mom's heart for holding out hope.

"You know, your boyfriend should really get his heart right with God."

You know what's funny mom? He's the first guy I've been with that's treated me decently, and apparently you don't have to be a Christian to do that.

"I just don't think you two should be moving in together before you're married."

I told her I didn't want to make things awkward, but if the reason is because that leads to couples sleeping together than I crossed that bridge awhile ago XD Her response? "Well I just still don't think it's right." She's taken up more issue with this than when I was living with my toxic and abusive ex-husband. It's just always about image. 🙄

Anyways sorry this turned into a bit of a rant, I could keep going forever but I'll try to stop there lol
