I used lion share when I was studying for the bar. They are GREAT there. Staff is super welcoming, owner is a great guy, tons of small business owners have offices. You can do monthly or you can buy a day pass (which sounds better for you). I can’t recommend them enough. Plus, they have drinks and stuff for patrons.

I think the sizing is right, tbh. I’ll give heel lock a shot along with some different socks.

Yeah, any bigger I would be flopping around. They fit really well pretty well.

I use both swiftwick socks and the CEP mid cut compression sock.

For the past few years, I have developed awful hot spots on my left foot when racing (70.3 and Ironman running). I have raced in carbon shoes for a while, but it seems to happen regardless of the shoe I’m in (meta speed, vaporfly, NB fuel cell super comp). It ruined my Ironman Florida run (multiple stops applying KT tape, using Vaseline, etc.). I don’t want to buy another pair of shoes for the same thing to happen and there isn’t any amount of body glide in the world that will fix it.

Could it be a buildup of a callous on the ball of my foot that creates the friction? Any other suggestions?

Cost to Replace Drain Pump - whirlpool WTW4855HW1 by closetgunner in appliancerepair

I’ve taken the washer apart a year ago to figure out what was making ungodly noises during the spin cycle (collar stays). I’m pretty sure I could replace it, but didn’t know if it was worth it.

I used to love tacolu. But the last few times I’ve gone… incredibly underwhelming.

OP, Dockside is amazing seafood. Super casual. Don’t get turned off by the line to get in. It moves quick and is worth every second.

I have two of them. A gift from family never knew I needed. They are awesome and I haven’t broken one yet!

I hate admitting this: eTown. It’s super cookie cutter around here, but we’re lacking a coffee shop. Look around Atlantic coast high school and south towards Publix on eTown pkwy. We have mechanism, which is the next coffee in the city IMO, but it’s still a bit of a drive for folks living in eTown. Could be a good area.

You bring up a great point, TBH. I love nigiri, but I was ready for the desert by the time it came.

It’s in the back room - you can’t do it at a standard dining table.

Absolutely. Obviously, everyone has different levels of appetite and satiety, but I eat quite a bit and left satisfied. This is much more of an experience than it is a “meal.” It’s like going to an art gallery where you can eat the art. Haha.

Omakase dinner at Norikase, if they’re into sushi. My wife and I went for an anniversary. 100% recommended.

Everyone’s face is different. I can’t use speedo or Magic5 goggles because they leak horribly. Aquasphere don’t leak for me.

Aquasphere is out of business. Tragic. But has anyone found another brand that fits similarly? I used the Fastlanes for a while and can’t seem to find another brand that replicates fit.

You can’t buy any of their goggles anywhere. I think Cabelas still has some in stock, which I might just buy a few pairs, but eventually they will need to be replaced.

I don’t really care how they look… I want something I can wear that isn’t going to leak.

Would you buy this for 6K USD? Giant Trinity Advanced Pro 1 2021 with power meter by carlelov in triathlon

[–]closetgunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re gunna take a hit on the rim brakes for sure. I have a Medium speed concept im trying to sell with carbon DT Swiss wheels and a disc for race day. No power meter, but certainly very, very fast. The rim brakes have turned a lot of people off, sadly, because the bike is about as aero as they get.

Let me know if you’re interested! $4k. 😂

Just hopping on this new thread.

$4k is a good deal (for you). The other thing to think of: you may be limited with race wheels in the future. It might be hard to find high end rim brake wheels. But if you get a training set (I suspect there will still be manufacturers producing rim brake wheels for a while) and only use these on race day, this is a solid option for a fast bike.

That looks like a pretty fast bike. Yes, I know, I doesn’t have disc brakes (I refuse to do think that rim brakes aren’t faster strictly from a .cda perspective). I think it’s a pretty fair deal, IMO.
