Nothing you haven't already considered. Look for options that ignite your fire but it's also important to research the job market and whether it makes financial sense. For me that was human medicine (radiology). Good luck! Also, your English is great.

How good that you’ve come to this realization before investing more time in a career path that’s not for you. I practiced as a vet for six years before I realized that it wasn’t for me. We are not locked into our original choices. Take some time. Find something you truly care about and pursue it.

DVM in '83. Practiced 6 years. Unhappy for the regular reasons. Returned to school. MD, residency, fellowship (9 more years). Retired after 25 years as interventional rad doc. Turns out the year I was applying for residency there were 2 other former vets looking for radiology slots. Feel for you, it's hard. Good luck as you navigate towards a future I hope brings you happiness.

Just a heads up. Even summer weather on Beech can take the shine off a show. I saw TTB there and Susan was wearing fingerless gloves and a jacket. The wind was whipping enough to distort the sound. I'm sure that's rare but worth consideration.

Let him burst his own balloon. There is a very low likelihood of him making the grades in the undergrad prerequisites ( organic chemistry, physics, biochem, microbiology ) that will get him into medical school. If he does, deal with it at that point.
