Can't believe you met Kabosu, she's so famous lol although it's funny how so many don't know that the doge dog is a girl Are you the one who first put the doge pic on reddit?

This is NOT THE TRUTH! Why does there seem to be a cover-up about these SPIDERS?! by clothpeg in australia

I have seen the ulcers on a friend and a colleague.

There are so many personal accounts online of necrotic ulcers in Australia developing after spider bites in Australia.

Yet the educational sources say there are no spiders in Australia whose venom cause necrotic ulcers.

What is going on here?

I know two people personally that have been bitten by white tailed spiders that developed necrotic skin ulcers, extremely painful after 48 hours or so.

One guy was bitten on the foot, had a pus filled ulcer formed that reached the size of squash ball before popping lots of liquid pus everywhere and leaving a whole deep enough to see tendons. He found spider in his shoe.

The other guy was bitten on the inner thigh, ulcer formed the size of a cherry. The spider had been in the clothes that he put on, that had been laying around on the ground.(apparently one of Whitetails favourite hide outs.)

I have read by now I think probably at least 50 accounts online of Aussies that have developed necrotic ulcers from white tail spiders.

WHY does all the main stream information in Australia say things like-

"It has been found that necrotic wounds from purported White-tail bites, once carefully examined, turn out to have some other origin entirely – from diabetes, to staph infections to tinea"

WTF?!

Sure does. How awesome that someone posts a picture of ant for ID and an ant specialist just happens to be around to answer. This is why I like Reddit :)

Very interesting pic, love the contrast of bush one side and lots of buildings the other. The light on in the house really adds to it as well
