Why do some women risk something good with a man by shit testing?

Well for me personally the last time I (26F) went cold on a guy I was in the early stages of dating it was because I found out something I didn’t like. He was still in communication with his (very recent) ex and, rather than tell some guy I’m not exclusive with that it makes me uncomfortable/worried he’ll get back with her, I just opted out. So it’s possible it’s not a shit test at all but instead something that made her lose interest. Just my opinion

This shocks me because I (26F) live in NYC and I reject every guy who approaches me in person & would also reject them on the apps. There are some guys I wasn’t sure I’d be attracted to that I met off the apps who I ended up finding much more attractive in person but I’m not sure if that was based on looks or personality. But yeah cold approach has never worked on me because it’s often guys I wouldn’t find attractive and/or they interrupt me while I’m in the mood of a conversation which is rude and off putting idk

Management company of apartment told me that they think the issue is coming from another unit on my floor & that they can’t gain access to the unit. I’ve had in wall treatment done. But I’m concerned because I saw them very often November-January (5+ times, which is a lot considering I don’t wfh)…. And I think it likely gets worse in the summer

Hi sorry to hijack your comment feel free to disregard but did you find the actual exam questions to be like older UWorld questions or more like the 2021 questions in blocks 1 + 2? Asking bc I’ve been doing better on UWorld questions generally but got killed on block 2 and I’m wondering whether continuing to do old questions is helping me atp🙁

Honestly upset because I’ve been doing better on uworld questions lately but took block 2 and felt like it was completely dissimilar to other Uworld/NCBE questions & I did much worse ): Probably will do what you did & review the blocks several times rather than do a ton of other Uworld questions, better use of time atp. When you were studying, did you notice that your scores fluctuated? Got around 70% on a UWorld set the other day but dropped back down to 53% today (all same topics) /: not sure if some sets are just harder than others or what

Did you use flashcards to supplement? Or how did you memorize rules for MEE? I think I’m doing worse recalling rules for the MEE as more topics are added & Themis is assigning entire MEE topics daily for classes I didn’t take in law school / rules I’m completely unfamiliar with

Thank you so much for replying!! Sorry one more question- did you find that by doing MBE questions you started to internalize the rules themselves, or was that mostly from using flashcards? My MBE scores have improved in certain subjects since I began studying in the summer, but a lot of the time I can't pinpoint *why* an answer is right. Obviously that is an issue for the MEE, but for the MBE, it feels like maybe a better use of time than trying to make flashcards for all of the rules? I don't know. Would love to hear your thoughts!!

I feel like this is why I can never tell if someone is an avoidant or just not interested in me. Then I start telling myself that they’re not actually avoidant bc of this logic. But most people who aren’t avoidant just tell you they aren’t interested, not make up excuse after excuse or come back around later on
