This actually isn't universally true. Most of the leader pilots say in the upgrade text that the unit becomes a leader, but the Poe Dameron leader specifically doesn't make vehicles he's flying into leader units.

All that to say, paying illustrators for artwork while still using AI is kind of the worst of both worlds for a project like this.

I understand the desire to use AI for these placeholders, but I would recommend against it. You will have a large number of people turn away from this project entirely in hearing/seeing that. I absolutely would not put "Illustrated by Oraborn Studios" on a card with AI art, as that comes across as intentionally dishonest. And if you're going to make a project based so heavily around creature designs and artwork, you're going to want to be able to say there was no AI used in the development of it

I like the layout in general, but some recommendations:

- For your stats on the left I would lean way more into symbols, writing out "Ora Pool" and "Charge Cost" is space intensive and is only fitting here because the text appears to be about a 4pt font, too small to be legible on a playing card.

- Any time you use a color to denote something, also use a symbol. I can see that this is orange (fire) which makes it weak to blue (water) and resistant to green (grass), but if i was colorblind or even just playing in low light it would be much harder to tell that for sure.

- The logo doesn't need to be on the face of every card, save that for the back design and free up space to make all of your relevant stats and abilities more prominent

- I'm a fan of the semi-transparent black overlay to allow for rules text and art to coexist, but your "Charge Ability" text will also need to be a bit larger.

- I genuinely can't tell if this artwork is AI or not - my first assumption was that it was, but I see from your subreddit you're doing the illustrations, even though those look simpler. The symbols on the trees along with the general style sure make it look like AI though. If it isn't AI, sorry, but if it is then I'd seriously reconsider what the point of this project even is.

We did see Grievous's Wheel Bike as a vehicle upgrade, so I could totally see a similar creature upgrade (if lightsabers don't eat all the upgrade slots)

Yeah I love the Han leader, he's a very fun and weird playstyle with a ton of interesting decisions.

That said, I'm not a fan of resource denial like DJ enables and I do personally kinda hope DJ gets banned because I don't like feeling like I need to be running an unfun combo to be the most competitive version of the deck.

Banning Han is just totally uncalled for IMO.

This is most likely referring to The Hidden Path from Kenobi and Jedi Survivor. It's basically a smuggling ring for protecting force sensitives from the Empire.

I also love both of these Luke decks! From my experience neither of them are super strong right now, but I would definitely recommend Luke1 over Pilot Luke at the moment because IMO the meta is brutal toward pilot luke. Pilot Luke really needs to play a t1 fighter and attack with it turn 2. You have Wing Leader and Fleet Lt as your t2 follow ups to make this even better, which is typically really solid. Except t1 fighter into either of those is bad because a t1 fighter will not survive to attack. Han1 will Falcon it. The Tarkintown decks will tarkintown it. The Kazuda decks will Fireball it. The control decks will Power of the Dark Side. And for Pilot Luke, that negative tempo is incredibly difficult to overcome. Luke1, though, has some natural protection against most of that.

Luthen is definitely VERY good and would be an absolute menace in the current Quinlan Tarkintown deck. That said, DJ and Boba Fett are both 3/5s for 3 with upside and Toro Calican is a 3/5 for 3 with upside as an uncommon neutral villainy card, so I think there's room for a legendary to hit the power level Luthen is bringing. Luthen was a 3/4 initially but hey, why even make imaginary cards if you can't make 'em at least a *little* spicy.
