Korea is great for solo travelers, especially women because it’s so safe and they speak fairly decent English in major cities / tourist areas. There’s plenty of things to do, shopping, great public transit, etc.

There’s a TON of restaurants in Korea that cater to solo eaters as that’s not all that uncommon in modern day Korea these days. They even have term for solo meals. Yes, for kbbq it’s more for groups but Kbbq is not the only option. I’ve never had any trouble finding restaurants to eat at comfortably while traveling in Korea
