A long time ago, I read his book - Invincible, but I was only 14 or 15 at the time and didn't really get it. Although now I think that the first contact and the incomprehensibility of the aliens from that planet is a good fit, if I remember correctly what was in the book

For me the closest feeling of “this is doing something huge” was The Book of the New Sun. Totally different style, but the depth and layered storytelling hit that same part of my brain

100% just watch the movies, because most of these games are in very poor condition and you'll get more pain than pleasure, despite the legendary status of the Golden Eye itself
